One question I often hear is about the future, post-AI predictions, and what the next big frontier might be.

While I don't have a crystal ball, my thoughts lean towards asteroid mining for minerals, the continued growth of space technology, and the long-awaited fusion reactor we've been waiting for the last 50+ years.

Generally speaking, our focus will continue to be on energy and minerals. In this exciting future, Bezos and Elon are definitely well-positioned.

One trend I am genuinely happy to see is the rise of free-to-play AAA multiplayer games.

Seeing titles like Delta Force and even PUBG go free to install without needing a credit card is a massive win for those of us in Sub-Saharan Africa.

For too long, we’ve been excluded from the global gaming conversation by high price tags, but that barrier is finally coming down.

It’s a brilliant move because these developers can make 80% of their revenue from just 20% of their player base. This allows them to keep the game inclusive for everyone else who may not be able to afford it.

The best part for me is that they usually only make money from selling skins and outfits. Personally, I would never spend money on a digital fit, but I’m glad they are selling those instead of things that affect gameplay. It keeps the matches fair and skill-based rather than "pay-to-win."

To me, this feels a lot like the open-source software model. You give the code away for free and make your money from enterprise support or those who can afford the extras. It’s finally making top-tier gaming accessible for most of the Global South, and I’m here for it.

The current U.S. ambassador is an absolute joke. He’s walking around with an ego twice his size, acting like some desperate, attention-starved teenager instead of a diplomat.

We’ve dealt with meddling ambassadors before, but this guy is on a whole new level of self-importance.
