It's hard for me to explain my love-hate relationship with the Ministry of Revenue.

However, my motto never changed, only pay the amount you are legally obligated to pay.

And the "legally obligated" part has some wiggle room if you know what you're doing.

Just to clarify, platforms also charge payment gateways.

For instance, Telebirr charges 0.5%. Some platforms are free, and it would be great if this transparency were clearer for developers and merchants.

I also hope we could see a transaction fee cap, so even if transaction amounts grow, the fee wouldn't go beyond a certain limit.

Heard that "payout" feature on payment gateways is one of the reasons for the recent crackdown
