A ship was found drifting in the Atlantic.
Her name was Mary Celeste.
She had left New York weeks earlier,
bound for Genoa, Italy.
When another ship finally reached her,
something was terribly wrong.
There was no one aboard.
Not the captain.
Not his wife.
Not their two-year-old daughter.
Not a single member of the seven-man crew.
Yet the ship was still seaworthy.
The cargo was still there.
Food and water remained on board.
There were no bodies.
The only lifeboat was gone.
And the last entry in the ship’s log
had been made nine days earlier.
It simply recorded the ship’s position
near the island of Santa Maria.
After that…
nothing.
Ten people vanished into the Atlantic.
They were never found.
