The Curse of Being Intelligent
Being intelligent can feel like a curse.
You see the game while everyone else is still playing it. You recognize the patterns hidden beneath peopleβs words, the truths buried behind their lies, and the motives they try so hard to conceal. You notice what others choose to ignore.
And perhaps the hardest part is this: once you understand the game, you realize that understanding it doesnβt mean you can escape it.
Sometimes, to keep moving forward, you have to stay silent. You have to pretend you donβt see what you see. You have to act unaware, even when the truth is standing right in front of you.
Because knowing too much can make you tired.
Seeing too clearly can make you lonely.
And sometimes, the only way to survive the game is to pretend you never learned how it works.
