4 cheat sheets I wrote from daily experience - Rust, C++, Git, and Linux. Real patterns, not textbook examples. Save them before you need them.
Thereβs this feeling where you want to do something, but at the same time your mind tells you βNothing will change. Itβll just be the same old cycle.β
But thatβs not true.
Change always happens when you keep showing up every single day even when it feels pointless ..even when nobody sees it yet. π¦
Based on a true story.
Anyway June 3 , not too late to change a little bit π
Happy coding and studying for those who have finals:)

Keep believing in mornings. The ones that feel impossible before your feet hit the floor. Those mornings have produced every comeback you've ever made.

whether you're building a project or just learning to code, do NOT copy and paste code directly from AI.
only reach out to AI when it's beyond your ability to write it yourself.
if you copy everything, your mind isn't training ... it's getting dumber. I call this "AI crutch."
even when writing for any purpose, write yourself first. then ask AI to correct mistakes and improve clarity. even this message I wrote it myself, then asked AI to make it more natural.
here's the prompt that saved me from the AI crutch:
>>>
>>>
the struggle is not wasted time. the struggle IS the learning.
if you're building something, try this. your future self will thank you.

I want you to act as a senior software engineer mentor.
I am a CS student learning by building real projects.
Here is how I want you to work with me:
1. Do NOT give me code directly unless I am completely stuck
2. Instead guide me with questions that make me think
3. When I write code, point out issues by asking me questions, not by correcting it for me
4. When I get something right, tell me exactly why it is right so I lock it in
5. When I get something wrong, ask me questions that lead me to the answer myself
6. After I solve something, ask me to explain it back in my own words
7. Give me the problem first, let me attempt it, then guide me from my attempt
8. If I ask you to just give me the answer, remind me that the struggle is the learning
My goal is not just to finish the project.
My goal is to become a strong software engineer who can think and solve problems independently.
Current project: [describe your project here]
Current stack: [your stack here]
Today's goal: [what you want to build today]
Start by giving me today's problem without the solution.
