๐ฝ It's ready here's what I've been cooking.๐๐
Last week I sent money from my CBE account to my telebirr wallet.
The fee is 11 birr
I didn't know if that was normal or a ripoff and that's the real
problem: nobody tells you what you're actually paying. Banks bury the fee in a percentage, a tier, or fine print, and you find out the cost only after the money's already gone. Banks don't make it easy to know what you'll pay until after you've already paid it.
So I built Fair Fee: type in any amount, and instantly see exactly what every major Ethiopian bank and mobile wallet would charge you for that specific transfer and whether that fee is fair, or quietly ripping you off.
What I found when I checked my own transfer:
1. CBE charges a flat 57.5 birr for bank transfers same price whether you send 100 birr or 50,000 birr
2. Dashen Bank charges a fair percentage instead the price actually scales with what you send
3. For the same 2,000 birr transfer, the cheapest and most expensive banks differ by 14x.
Enter your own amount and see for yourself, for free:
๐ fair-fee.vercel.app
Before your next transfer, check what you're actually paying. It takes 10 seconds and could save you real money.
What's the highest transfer fee you've ever been charged? Let me know ๐

There is nothing more satisfying than a client who is genuinely thankful for what you built for them.
I just closed one of my contracts, a health platform that is now live on the App Store and Google Play.

If you are asking the whole problem solving after finishing and shipping the project its 100%
For specific problem solving like leetcode I would say 75% and the rest is for the staring at my own solution for an hour why the heck I didn't get it and the chaos I get from it .
But it's really good to solve leetcode and even to figure out things before getting solutions upfront by just asking ai ...I'm the one who do that often btw lol ..gin we have to use ai wisely ig ik it's kinda hard to just approach by yourself and figure out by yourself cuz you already know u can get easily the answer..but it should not be like that ..in the near future we will be dumb fs if we trapped in AiCrutches ๐ฅฒ
Late reply tho ๐ค

๐ง Soโฆ what is Omarchy?
Iโve been looking into Omarchy lately, and honestly, itโs pretty interesting.
Omarchy is a Linux distribution built on Arch Linux, with Hyprland as its desktop environment. The idea is to give you a fully configured, beautiful, keyboard-driven developer setup without having to spend 3 days configuring Arch yourself ๐
It comes with a bunch of developer-friendly tools, terminal utilities, themes, shortcuts, and a workflow that makes you feel like youโre hacking into NASA even when youโre just running
The whole philosophy is basically:
less clicking, more keyboard. Less setup, more building.
Itโs definitely more opinionated than Ubuntu(which I use), and thereโs a learning curve, but thatโs also what makes it interesting.
Might actually give it a shot soon.
Because apparently I need another way to make my mind occupied along with writing code.
