All Praise is to Allah who has made this project possible. As you may be aware, last year Salam Youth Academy Launched a SEN project for those kids in the community who have special needs and were unable to attend normal Maktab/Madrasah.

Alhumduillah since the advertisement last Year of this project we have had very high Interest from the SEND community..


Salam Youth Academy this year was able to open its doors to those special children and give them a place to learn about their beautiful religion and find a safe, loving, fun second home.


This project could not have been as successful without the Dua’s of our Senior Ulama’s, teachers, parents, Volunteers, students and the community.


Jazak’Allah Khairun for all those that supported financially, word of mouth or be it by Dua’s. Alhumduillah today these pure souls have an environment to learn their religion without being pressure, judged and scared, from the bottom of our hearts Jazak’Allah, May Allah swt reward each and everyone of you with goodness in both worlds and may it be a means of entering into Jannah.

The Prophet (s), addressing all who have illnesses and disabilities, said, “No Muslim is pricked with a thorn, or anything larger than that, except that a hasanah (goodness) will be recorded for him and a sin will be erased as a reward for that”(Al-Bukhari and Muslim).

In this age and time, navigating through the social media is a challenge and a fitnah.

There are no guidelines that can help us and our youth to interact responsibly online and in accordance with the Islamic doctrine.

Our community lacks the awareness to curb the unseen threat posed by new and varied platforms thereby putting us at a disadvantage.

There is an absence of ideas on how to generate and promote a safe *Islamic way of Social Networking*.

There is also insufficient information and lack of a proper direction, on how to be socially responsible in creating content that has the potential to become viral; and avoid mistakes that are Islamically forbidden and can tarnish one’s future.

Join us for a beneficial insight workshop into how to guide your family towards a safe and responsible usage of the Social Media.
