The placement season for Batch 2023 will begin soon and it is after all one of the most crucial times of the year for a student when they are expected to put their best foot forward and land their Dream Job.🙌🏻 So a great strategy here is the need of the hour⏳. Basically, a combination of knowledge, confidence, soft skills, technical knowledge, and leadership qualities is required to ace the interviews and land your dream job.

With this vision, SAKEC Training and Placement cell started with Career guidance and training series, Practice to Perfect for batch 2023 on 4th July 2023. Day1, of this series, started with the session: "Path Ahead: Career Guidance on Placement and Higher Education". The session was conducted by Dr.V.C.Kotak. This session steered students with the preparation of the students for their career path and cleared their doubts pertaining to this. Session 2 was "Building a LinkedIn Profile". The session was conducted by Prof. Manoj Dhande. The session was aimed at showing the students the correct representation of their profile on their professional social media handles and how these can be used to their best in the professional career path. Session 3: "Guidance for Coding" was conducted by Prof.Rohan Borgalli.The session made the students aware of the importance of coding skills and how should this skill be developed for performing in national coding tests. We are thankful to the students for their cooperation and look forward to such enthusiasm in the upcoming training sessions.

On the 2nd day of Career Guidance and Training Series, 🎗️ Practice to Perfect 🎗️for Batch 2023 i.e. 5th July 2022, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell organized a Quantitative Training session on Interview skills and resume writing Session and Aptitude Mock Test.

Prof. Gopal Nanda, Assistant Professor, SAKEC conducted the session on quantitative and analytical skills. These skills involved statistical, forecasting, and estimation techniques, formulation, and application of mathematics. The overall aim of the Quantitative training is to provide a brief introduction to basic quantitative methods and tricks to solve mathematical logical problems used to ask at different placement interview processes. The second session of the day was on "Interview skills and resume writing " by Prof. Sharmila G, Assistant Professor, SAKEC, had conducted an interactive session with the students. This session was about building an effective resume and Interview Skills. She discussed the importance of resume sections like heading, objective/aspirations, education, and work experience, and the importance of languages. Along with this activity, students also practiced an online Mock Test on Quantitative Aptitude.

On the 4th day of Career Guidance and Training Series, Practice to Perfect for Batch 2023 i.e. on 7th July 2022, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell organized a session on Database Management system, Psuedo Code Analysis, and conducted Aptitude Mock Test.

A session on Database Management systems was conducted by Prof. Uday Bhave, HoD, Computer Science Engineering, SAKEC. This session helped the students to understand the fundamentals and also helped them understand the industry projects based on these concepts. The second session of the day was on " Pseudo code Analysis " conducted by Prof . Tejas Hirave, Computer Science Engineering Department, Sakec. This session solved some of the typical questions asked by IT giant companies in their recruitment exams. A mock test based on Quantitative Aptitude was also conducted by the placement team.

On the 3rd day of Career Guidance and Training Series, Practice to Perfect for Batch 2023 i.e. on 6th July 2022, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell organized sessions on Quantitative Aptitude: Tips and Tricks, Software Engineering Practices followed by Logical Mock Test.

The first session of the day was on"Quantitative Aptitude: Tips and Tricks " conducted by Prof.Deepti Shelar. This session helped students with preparation tricks for improving speed and accuracy for solving the quantitive aptitude using some time-saving techniques and some typical examples for recruitment exams for discussion. The second session of the day was on"Software Engineering Practices " by Prof. Lukesh Kadu which helped the students in improving their technical skills for industry-related projects. Along with this activity, students also practiced the Logical Mock Test.

On the 5th day of Career Guidance and Training Series, Practice to Perfect for Batch 2023 i.e. on 8th July 2022, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell conducted a session on Quantitative Aptitude, Data Structure followed by Logical Mock Test.

The first session was on Quantitative Aptitude. This session was taken By Prof.Akash Chauhan, SAKEC. In this session, students were made aware of the questions asked in the qualifying round on this topic. Some typical questions were solved. The second session scheduled was on Data Structure and this session was conducted by Prof.Atul Kachare, Computer Science Engineering, SAKEC. This session helped the students to understand the applications of a data structure for modern-day industry progress. Some questions broadly asked by recruiter giants and national contests were discussed and students were encouraged to practice more The last session was an hour-long mock test on Logical Aptitude.

On the 6th day of Career Guidance and Training Series, Practice to Perfect for Batch 2023 i.e. on 11th July 2022, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell conducted a session on Soft Skill Development, Mock Group Discussion followed by Psychometric Test.

The first session was on Soft Skill Development by Dr. Sanjay Katira, Safalya Consultancy Pvt. Ltd.This session helped the students to develop the required communication skills for the corporate professional lofe. Some case studies were studied. The second session of the day was on Mock Group Discussion and this session was conducted by Prof. Sanjay Patil, SAKEC. In this session, the students were divided into small groups and some of the topics were given to them to discuss and personal feedback was discussed depending on their performance. The last session was a Mock Psychometric Test.

Day 7 of the Career Guidance and Training Session, Practice to Perfect was conducted on July 12th, 2022.

The first session of the day was on "Computer Network ".The session was taken by Prof. Asha Durafe, SAKEC. In the session, the students were made aware of the practical applications of computer networks and the industry problems and their solutions. Some case studies were discussed on similar lines of questions asked by companies for their recruitment exam. The second was on Artificial Intelligence.

This session was conducted by Dr. Rekha Ramesh, SAKEC. This session made the students aware of the vast application of artificial intelligence across the various domains in the industry 4.0 era and how the students can make themselves skilled for the same. Some real-time projects were discussed with students.

The third session of the day was a mock test on Gamification conducted by the Placement.

Day 8 of the Career Guidance and Training session, Practice to Perfect was conducted on 13th July 2022.
The first Session was Alumni Talk by Mr. Dhairya Chheda, Software Engineer, LTI. In this session, the students shared first-hand experience of the skills required for the transition from student to professional. The new innovations and the expectation of the industry from a fresher were discussed in detail. The second session was on Quantitative Aptitude Session by Prof. Aakash Chauhan, SAKEC. In this session, the practice of high speed and high accuracy in solving the quantitative questions was given to students. Some typical questions were discussed. A Technical Mock Test was given to students as a part of technical mock test series conducted by the Placement team.

Day 9 of the Career Guidance and Training Session, Practice to Perfect was conducted on 14th July 2022.

The first session was on soft skill development by Dr. Vanita Joshi, Faculty Member, IBS. In this session, the students shared the techniques for developing the soft skills required for the transition from student to professional. The different case studies helping the student with improving their communication skills are discussed in detail. The second session was an Expert talk by Mr.Saurabh Mota, Full stack developer, Creative Solutions. In this session the required skill sets of a fresher were discussed and also some suggested topics were brought to the student's notice. Saurabh, an alumnus of SAKEC cleared the queries raised by the students. A Technical Mock Test was given to students as a part of technical mock test series conducted by the Placement team

On the 10th day of Career Guidance and Training Series, Practice to Perfect for Batch 2023 i.e. on 15th July 2022, SAKEC Training and Placement Cell organized a Panel Discussion, Java Session, and Technical Mock Test

Session 1 was on Panel Discussion by our alumni serving in leading roles in the industry, The members of the panel discussion were Ms.Arushi Shetty, Mr, Devesh Surve, Mr.Ashutosh Agrawal, and Mr.Nishad Rane The panel had an interactive discussion on the small nuances of the journey from student to professional. The second session was on Java. The session was conducted by Prof, Deepshikha Chaturvedi, SAKEC. In this session the students were given a walkthrough of the fundamentals and applications of Java and also some suggested topics were brought to the student's notice. A Technical Mock Test was given to students as a part of technical mock test series conducted by the Placement team.
