Agastya International Foundation’s AVP Program organized a Science Fair in Mumbai on 28th February 2026 to celebrate National Science Day and spark scientific curiosity among students. Held at Matoshri Vidyamandir, Mankhurd, in the morning and Karunya Trust, Govandi, in the afternoon, the event featured interactive models such as the Plasma Ball, Newton’s Disc, Coupled Pendulum, Solar Kit, Kaleidoscope, Periscope, and biological displays like the Human Skeleton, Heart, Eye, and Fungus. Students and parents responded enthusiastically, many experiencing such models for the first time. Conducted by SAKEC student volunteers, the fair reached 700 students and 300 parents, promoting hands-on learning and confidence-building.

The Sorting Visualizer Project achieved a significant milestone by receiving the Best Industry-Ready Patent Award at the SAKEC TECH Symposium 2026, held on 7th February 2026. This recognition highlights the effort invested in translating algorithmic concepts into an interactive and industry-relevant learning tool.
We acknowledge Dr. Bhavesh Patel, Principal, for his valuable guidance and continuous support, and Dr. Rashmi Malvankar for mentoring the project and encouraging student innovation. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr.Swati Deshpande Nadkarni, Head of the Department, for her encouragement and support in promoting research and innovation initiatives.

This achievement reflects a strong culture of research, innovation, and collaborative learning, in which academic guidance and student creativity converge to develop impactful technological solutions. The invention focuses on improving the visualization and understanding of sorting and data handling processes, contributing to more effective learning and application of core computer science concepts.

🚀 Exploring the Power of Prompts in the Age of AI
The IEI-SAKEC Student Chapter, in collaboration with the ECS Department of Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on “Prompt Engineering – Where Pedagogy Meets AI Precision” on 7th March 2026.
The session was led by SAKEC Alumni- Mr. Ronak Parikh, Co-Founder of Techinfinity, Techinfinity Studios, Bespoke Bliss, and Technobotics, a 30 Under 30-recognized entrepreneur whose ventures have also been featured among the Top 60 Startups of Maharashtra under MSSIDC.
The workshop highlighted how the right prompts can unlock the true potential of Artificial Intelligence, making it a crucial skill for students, educators, and professionals alike.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Hemant Shah and Shreyas Vinchu for their constant support and encouragement in making this initiative possible.
