I'm in love with Rome. Everywhere it represents the unbroken chain of our civilization from ancient warriors to Olympian gods, Socratic philosophy, Roman Empire and Christianity.

Many popes have constructed statues to the Olympian gods because the Church sees itself as the father of a rich civilisational heritage which Christ saved.

Maurice Orange's "Napoleon at the Pyramids" painting is brought to life in the recent Ridley Scott film...and the mummy is clearly White.

In fact, the mummy looks like a RADA 🇬🇧 film actor, which makes sense considering 70% of modern day Englishmen share DNA with the Pharaohs while only 1% modern day Egyptians do.
