Another week brings the boat closer to the finish line. Sea trails, electronics tune-up, and finishing interior work are progressing well. While the Outremer team diligently works to complete the remaining tasks before delivery, across the ocean, I am diligently researching boat registration and flagging procedures.

To date, I have identified RMI (Republic of the Marshall Islands) as the potential registration location. However, the process is intricate.
International Registries, Inc., the representative of RMI, mandates the presence of a “qualified intermediary” to facilitate the registration
process for private citizens. Regrettably, numerous companies offering services in this domain exhibit a protracted response time and lack
transparency regarding the overall cost and duration of the process. This situation presents a significant loss for RMI. I firmly believe
that streamlining the process would enable RMI to process a substantial number of registrations, thereby contributing to the country’s budget.

I know we fall off the radar for a while, but we had reasons… unfortunately I overestimated my capacity to prep for circumnavigation and also edit content without any experience.
Few last weeks we have been in Lanzarote, Canary Islands preparing for Atlantic crossing. Yesterday we started the crossing with a little bit rough sea conditions in the beginning, but today a little bit better.
