I started my journey in 2010 by creating the first social media marketing agency in Kazakhstan. We promoted businesses on VKontakte. It was a very fun time. That's when I realized the power of social networks and how they can influence people's minds and encourage them to take action. About a year into this activity, I managed 42 communities for a large training company with an audience of about 500,000 people and ran 3 groups with an audience of 350,000.
We sold advertising, created designs, and everything was great until I decided to start my first offline business and master product marketing. It was an amazing experience, which I will talk about in the next post.

In 2010, I graduated from university and immediately started a business, a classic path for those who didn't find meaning in their studies. I launched my own marketing agency and an online store for children's toys. At the beginning of 2011, e-commerce in Kazakhstan was just starting, and it was exciting to launch, as it was possible to get a large response right away. I found a supplier from Russia and made a purchase for $2000. I launched the website, ran a promotion with one of the coupon services, and received over 2000 orders.
😍 Wow, I was shocked. We made sales worth about $8000, immediately bought another batch, and started setting up a kiosk in a shopping center.
😨 That was the mistake. Going from online to offline is not the way to go, it's the other way around. We lost a lot of time and faced constant problems with staff, traffic, rent, and many other issues. In the end, it cost me the project. I lost time and development in the online space.
Over time, after about 6 months, the project started incurring losses. I decided to close the shopping center kiosk and sold part of the stock along with the online store.
Overall, it was a great experience launching e-commerce and marketing. I fully understood the power of the internet.

Today I want to share with you the importance of patience and perseverance.
Since 2017, when I got into crypto, I have made many mistakes and suffered losses. I invested haphazardly, put money into hype and pyramid schemes, which led to losing money. As a result, I missed out on 2 bull market cycles and approximately 5 bitcoins. The most important lesson I've learned is to analyze before buying, make decisions without emotions, and be patient. In other words, stay calm and know how to wait.
Now, in this market, I am finally able to use these two qualities and wait.
