* Question 3 BAM βΌοΈπ*
Q3a. 1 add the ammonium nitrate and the carbon to the 250 ml beaker on the left by dragging them to the beaker and releasing the left click when the pour icon appears. The beaker now contains a mixture of two solids. Confirm this by opening the reaction details.
2.Fill the beaker with the water and confirm that the ammonium nitrate has dissolved, but the carbon has not. Filter the mixture by pouring the beaker contents into the filter funnel. You may find you have to repeat the filtration until all the contents of the beaker have disappeared. Click on the filter funnel and confirm that all 20 g of carbon is now in the filter paper.
3.Use the pipette to transfer 10 ml of the filtrate (the clear liquid which passes through the filter paper) to the 50 ml beaker, and place it on the tripod above the Bunsen. Turn on the Bunsen by sliding upwards the control at the right. Click on the beaker and monitor its contents in its reaction details window. When the volume of liquid drops to about 0.3 ml, stop heating and confirm that solid ammonium nitrate is now present. You have now obtained solid samples of both carbon and ammonium nitrate from the original mixture.

But before my VIP members and other students have been seeing ditto Ditto through my WhatsApp link.
