The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) launched its first National Financial Inclusion Strategy for the period 2025-2029.

The strategy includes an integrated framework for financial inclusion aimed at enabling all individuals and businesses to access the financial sector and use appropriate and safe financial services while protecting their rights, thus contributing to economic and social development.


Key objectives include raising the percentage of adults with bank or digital accounts to 50% by 2030 (up from 11% currently), reducing the gender gap in access to financial services to 3.5 percentage points, and increasing the use of digital payments to 85%. 1 hour ago

This is fabulous! It's the most honest and comprehensive explanation about what is going on with our financial institutes, the rules and laws that govern it, how it aligns with stable coins, the treasury and the RV and talks about a reasonable timing for the RV. During the past decade since I've been in this movement I haven't heard  better commentary that explains the timing of when the financial infrastructure should be in place and how it will determine when the treasury should be ready to introduce stable coins, the RV & the jubilee.

Iraq didn’t say the rate is changing.
They said the entire government and private sector will be fully digital by July 1st.

Let that sink in.

You can’t run a modern, digitized economy with a fake, manipulated currency.
You can’t onboard millions of unbanked citizens into a formal system while keeping a broken exchange rate.
