Since 1990, when their average net worth stood at $17.7 million, their wealth has grown at an annual rate of 6.7%, significantly outpacing inflation and the growth of median household wealth.

Nearly all the benefits of economic growth have gone to this 0.1% of the population, or more broadly, to the top 5%.
