These are who I relate to. These are who I identify with. These people represent what I stand for — pride, which others see as ego.

I don't even know where to begin with, especially when we are talking about these absolute class act personas on television, which they took to total perfection.

Walter White, a failed genius chemist, who wound up working as a chemistry teacher at a low-tier public school, but over time, managed to build a drug empire big enough to be listed next to Fortune 500 companies. Imagine, the minute you pick up a gun and mention that it is quite heavy, your stupid brother-in-law saying that's why they hire men in front of your wife, teenage son, and a bunch of strangers. I cannot begin to understand what Walt must have felt at that particular moment, which partially led to his legendary transformation. Ironically, his family hated him for what he had become when they were the ones who created The Great Heisenberg. If it were not for this pride and ego, he would have still been teaching chemistry and being looked down on at every chance.

As for Saul Goodman, formerly known, as Jimmy McGill, who had transformed himself into a lawyer for criminals is one of my all-time favourite cinema characters. This representation, in my view, is deeply rooted in his past experiences, anything from his condescending older brother to chronic unemployment. Now, drum rolls, please! I believe that he would have taken many job opportunities from his shitty brother's law firm if not for his unbearable pride. Everybody, literally everyone saw him as egotistical human being when he was being proud of who he truly is, which by the way, was his downfall.

Last but not least, the great mighty Harvey Specter, an attorney in law who likes to play in the gray and present himself as emotionally unavailable person. A show of pride and ego can be seen in his high-school yearbook, which clearly states that loyalty is a two-way street. If I'm asking for it from you, then you're getting it from me. This character strikes a chord with me because he is a constant reminder of what robust principles are: loyalty, hard work, and compassion for loved ones. Plus, due to his natural instincts as such pride and ego, he allowed himself to hire a fraud in the first place and defended him throughout the series even though it was against the law itself.

All I wanted to say is that don't mistake pride for ego, as you cannot mistake kindness for weakness and rudeness for strength. Hope this post reignites your interest in tv series, as they are not just television shows, but absolute reflection of modern life.

I used to skateboard back in the days when I was in Saint Petersburg, but seeing this dog, I felt like going back to old habits. It is just our roads are not suitable for skateboarding thanks to our precious state 🙂

Aitch – A Guy Called?
Dropping a diss track within 24 hours after getting dissed? Man, if that’s not dedication to your craft, I don’t know what is. It’s like Kendrick vs. Drake, but with tea and biscuits. 😐

Plus, the vocal sample in the background is diabolical, which makes me focus even more on the lyrics — and they hit hard. Especially calling out the striking resemblance between Madeline, whom Central Cee dated a while ago, and his cousin — just wow. And the way he points out that everything Cee does, from his flow to his lyrics and image, is copied from others? Crazy. Keep it up, H! 🔫

Research in neuroscience suggests that reviewing information—such as vocabulary, phrases, or grammar rules—right before sleep can help with memory consolidation. Since the brain processes and strengthens connections during sleep, this can enhance retention and recall.

This technique, often called sleep learning or sleep consolidation, works because the brain is less distracted by new input at night, allowing it to solidify what you’ve studied. So, if you're learning a language, revising key phrases before bed could be an effective way to improve your recall.

The things I never say out loud

Relatable, right? There are little moments that we never talk about but replay in our minds all the time. These can be anything — from an old conversation, a regret, or something we should have said but did not.

Besides this, we all have fears that we keep quiet. Some are small and irrational, while others run deep. I sometimes wonder — what if I wake up one day and realize that I've wasted my time? What if this blog, my work, everything I put my energy into, doesn't lead anywhere? I don't say this out loud because it sounds weak and that's not me.

Other times, we hold back from speaking our mind because we don't want to be misunderstood or even judged. There are times I just genuinely want to say f u and slap someone to end of the world, but we maintain our composure. Why? Because we are civilized and try to be more tactful. If not for that, the orbit would be filled with people who got under my nerves or did something to irritate me.

I’m not the only one with thoughts that never get spoken. We all have them. What’s something you’ve never said out loud but always thought about?

We Vs I Mindset

this will be a long post, so brace yourselves.

We Vs I Mindset ⬇️

The Power of 'We': and Why It's Time to Leave 'I' behind.

In a world that often glorifies one's success, we sometimes forget the immense power of collective thinking. The shift from an "I" mindset to a "We" mindset is not just about teamwork — it is about redefining how we interact with others, solve problems, and respond to our surroundings.

The Strength of Collaboration

When we operate with an "I" mentality, we tend to focus on personal gain, often overlooking the benefits of working together as a team towards shared ambitions. The "We" mindset, on the other hand, is a clear manifestation of collaborative work and collective success. The most impactful technological and scientific breakthroughs were not the results of lone geniuses but rather a group of teams working towards a common goal. Many advances we take granted for today came from collective efforts, not individual attempts.

Fostering Deeper Connections

An "I" mindset often isolates us. We become so focused on our journey that we forget to connect with others meaningfully. When we embrace a "We" mindset, we build stronger relationships, trust, and empathy, leading to better communication, deeper friendships, and a greater sense of belonging. In the end, we are social beings, and our happiness is largely influenced by the quality of our relationships. Besides, instead of viewing success as a zero-sum game, where one person's victory means another's loss, we have to start to see success as something that can be shared and multiplied with others.

Leadership with Purpose

The best leaders in history have prioritized the needs of the group over their own personal interests. A "We" leader shares credit, empowers others, and builds a culture of trust, meanwhile "quote unquote" political figures create a society of individualism, where everyone thinks for themselves, including the leaders. Whether in politics, business, or social movements, leaders who adopt a collective mindset inspire loyalty and long-term success by recognizing that real progress happens when everyone moves forward together.

A Better Future for All

Many of the biggest challenges we face — climate change, inequality, global health crises — cannot be solved by individuals alone. These issues demand a shared effort, where people come to work with one another for the greater good. A "We" mentality encourages responsibility, accountability, and action on a larger scale, leading to a more just, sustainable, and cohesive world.

Making the Shift

So, the question is: how can we move from "I" to "We"?

— Listening more and valuing different perspectives
✅
— Celebrating collective achievements rather than personal wins
✅
— Supporting others without expecting something in return
✅
— Focusing on shared goals instead of individuals aims
✅

When we prioritize "We" over "I," we don’t just improve our own lives — we create a ripple effect that leads to stronger relationships, better communities, and a more united world. So, let’s start today. Let’s think, act, and grow together.

Sorry, I could not pursue leadership with purpose any further, as I hit me that I still live in Uzbekistan. This is a risk nobody in their right mind would take in public, especially with their name and pictures there.
