Learning Russian from scratch is like taking baby steps.
Here’s the interesting part: usually parents are the most excited about that, while a child doesn’t even realize they’ve achieved something significant.

It’s very similar to my job as a teacher. I’m the first to notice progress, inspire, and point out the first victories of my students.
Adult students aren’t like babies, though. Sometimes they struggle to express their thoughts properly, feel frustrated, or even ashamed. I’m there to help and remind you that it’s perfectly fine! Learning a language takes time, and you need that time to be able to say and do what you want in Russian.

My two main principles as a teacher:
1️⃣ One difficulty at a time
2️⃣ Mistakes are inevitable — they are our best teachers. I don’t correct every mistake at once. Instead, I group them and work on them gradually so you don’t get confused and stay motivated because you can see real progress.

🔥I’m excited to announce that I’m opening a new beginner group at the end of September.

📅 Format:
🔹 2 times a week
🔹 70–80 minutes per lesson
🔹 Monday and Wednesday, 16:00–17:20 Moscow time
🔹 Small group: 3–5 students
🔹 Level: You can read and know the alphabet. You already know that «слушать музыка» is incorrect, but «слушать музыку» is correct. You can say «Я живу в Москве», «Меня зовут …», «Я люблю спорт». Basically, you’ve been learning Russian for 4–6 months.

💰 Price:
🔸 $15 / €14 / 1200₽ per lesson
🔸 Monthly payment: $120 / €112 / 9600₽ (Visa, MasterCard, PayPal)
🔸 If you miss a class, you’ll get the recording

🧠 What our lessons look like:
♦️ Communicative lessons — no boring lectures
♦️ Real interaction: pair work, mini-projects
♦️ Focus on speaking, listening, grammar, and reading
♦️ Regular homework for revision
♦️ Quizzes and Quizlet for review
♦️ Materials: best textbooks «Точка Ру», «Поехали», «Я люблю русский язык» + my own resources

If you want to join, write me @rusgrigi2 A1, and we’ll schedule a free call to get to know each other and make sure we’re a perfect match!

Video message
It will be so different from Duolingo! I won’t give you any options on purpose — you’ll need to make up your own sentences. This video will show you what you’ve REALLY achieved in Russian.

Hopefully, it will inspire you to join my group classes at the end of September!

🎬 Backstage from my last YouTube recording session

I’ve also prepared a super helpful article for beginners — after reading it, you’ll be able to fix about 80% of your mistakes at the beginner stage.

And… a test for A1 level is coming! Did you know that it usually takes around 220–250 hours to reach A1 in Russian? This test will give you an amazing chance to check your level, see your progress, and find out what gaps you still need to work on.

I hope I didn’t do it for nothing — your [❤️] will show me that I’m on the right track.

Today marks exactly one month since I started training with a coach. When I first began, I had mixed feelings.

🇷🇺Russian text is in the comments

On the one hand, I was skeptical — I didn’t really believe a coach would improve my workouts that much. I thought I was smart enough and already knew a lot, so why spend the money?

On the other hand, I was super curious. It was a little dream of mine — to see how things could be done differently.
So, what’s the result? In short: I’m pleasantly shocked. The results surprised me.

1. My sleep schedule has improved, because now I train regularly at the same time. I was never this consistent on my own.

2. My back pain is gone. Because of my desk job, I had constant back pain (I told my coach about it), and with new exercises, the pain disappeared. When I trained alone, the pain would go away only for a short time.

3. I feel my body in a whole new way. We’ve done completely new and unusual exercises. Even with all my years of sports experience, every workout surprised me.

4. Despite already having strong muscles, I feel my body has become even stronger and new muscles are showing.

5. I lifted the heaviest weight of my life! I didn’t even know I was capable of that. Having an experienced coach by my side helped me discover what my body can really do.

And this is only the beginning!

Have you ever worked with a coach? Tell me about your experience!

Yesterday I came back to something I hadn’t done in a year… I honestly thought I’d never do it again 😳

Вчера я сделала то, что не делала год и думала, что уже никогда не вернусь к этому
