Zaporozhye NPP is the biggest plant in Europe, it provides a bit more than 20% of all the Ukrainian electricity. In case of a disaster the impact would be 16 times more intense than of Chernobil.
Right now no electric power is sent over to Ukraine due to the connection being destroyed by Ukrainian Gimars shelling. The desidion was made not to risk electricians life's trying to restore it.

Despite numerous warnings from the Russian Federation and the DPR, citizens of a number of Western countries continue to arrive to Ukraine to participate in the war against the civilian population of Donbass. Moreover, the greed for gain blinds these persons so much that they obviously do not realize the consequences of such steps.
❗️So, on August 23, during the fighting in the area of Egorovka, the servicemen of the DPR People's Militia liquidated another foreign mercenary fighting on the Ukrainian side. Fleeing, the AFU militants left his corpse at the battlefield.
Documents were found on the body in the name of a US citizen, a native of Memphis, Alan Joshua, born in 1998. The body was sent to one of the DPR morgues.
Unlike Ukraine, we are committed to the principles of humanism even in relation to our enemies. US officials are notified of the death of Alan Joshua. We also confirm our readiness to hand over his remains to relatives for burial.
📣 I also informed representatives of international human rights organizations about the incident and about the readiness to hand over the body. In particular, the Head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine Matilda Bogner.
⚠️ In addition, I would like to remind once again that mercenaries are not combatants and are not subject to international humanitarian law. Such persons are deprived of any "immunity" during hostilities. And I strongly recommend all foreign citizens arrived in Ukraine for militaristic purposes immediately leave the territory of this state. Otherwise, no one will bear responsibility for their lives and safety.

Ukrainian refugees in Slovakia tried to disrupt the Freedom Run event dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War
In the Slovak city of Banska Bystrica, Ukrainian refugees, with the connivance of local security forces, tried to disrupt the wreath-laying ceremony at the Memorial to the Heroes of the Red Army - as local residents who attended the ceremony told Readovka, at the time the Russian anthem was played, they shouted "glory to Ukraine" and other anti-Russian slogans, and the local police at first did not let people with Russian and Soviet flags near the monument.
However, this did not prevent those gathered from holding a ceremony and a motorcycle race through 17 Slovak settlements liberated from Nazi invaders by the Red Army. The column of motorcyclists who took part in the action stretched for almost four kilometers, one of the participants told Readovka. The Russian military shot down a kamikaze drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the purpose of which was a spent nuclear fuel storage facility.
This was reported in the CAA Energodar.
A quick reference: In the past years Ukranian authorities kept denying the NPP request to ask Russia to help desposing of these nuclear waste materials. The substances were just kept in barrels in open air.
