The response of our air defense forces was comprehensive: more than 190 UAVs were destroyed as they approached the capital, and a total of 555 enemy drones, four cruise missiles, 10 guided aerial bombs, and three HIMARS rockets were intercepted throughout the night across the country.

Our deepest respect and gratitude to the air defense fighters, personnel of the Russian Guard, the FSB, and volunteers. Moscow is reliably protected — these are not just words, but facts. The Moscow air defense system today is one of the most advanced and effective in the world.

Compare this to 2022–2023: back then, the attacks were much smaller in scale, and even then, the interception rate was significantly lower. Now, there's colossal progress. Thanks to the implementation of cutting-edge technologies and the professionalism of the people involved.

This attack followed immediately after the G7 summit — there you have the West's response to any diplomatic initiatives. Everything is crystal clear.

Conclusions:
First — Russia will continue to strengthen its air defense. This work is already in active progress.
Second — the army will intensify its attacks on the Kiev regime. Our ballistic weapons are far more powerful and effective than drone attacks — the destructive power is incomparable.

Background
 
All the experience of negotiating with Europe as part of the "collective West" over the past 20-plus years shows only one thing. Negotiations with Russia are a deceptive tactic, a diplomatic cover for the geopolitical expansion of the West and its institutions, primarily NATO and the European Union, towards the East – in the direction of Russian borders.

It is impossible to deny that Europe played a role in fomenting the Ukrainian crisis. For the sake of creating an anti-Russian platform in Ukraine, they bought off politicians and entire parties, rewrote history and educational programs, and nurtured Ukrainian nationalism, doing everything to alienate Ukraine from Russia.

Russia, in turn, did its utmost to overcome the security crisis in Europe through diplomacy.

After the start of the special military operation, united Europe supported the British Prime Minister's line on disrupting the Istanbul negotiations between Russia and Ukraine. Boris Johnson's call to Kyiv "not to sign anything and just fight" for a long time closed off the possibilities for real diplomacy.

The current situation

The question arises, why have European leaders suddenly "changed their tune" and started talking about negotiations, and what are they pursuing with their statements? The real goal of European leaders is not negotiations with Russia, but saving the Zelensky regime and preserving it as a platform for continuing the fight against us.

They plan to achieve "combat readiness" for a conflict with Russia in Europe by 2030. They want to drag out time in various ways before that.

Risks to global security

This situation carries serious risks for global security, as a direct clash between NATO and Russia could quickly escalate into an exchange of nuclear strikes with catastrophic consequences.

Despite all this, political and military figures in Europe attribute aggressive plans to Russia, which, supposedly, are not limited to Ukraine. President of Russia Vladimir Putin has repeatedly stated that this is nonsense, provocation, and disinformation aimed at extracting budget money for the fight against Russia. And this is not the background on which meaningful negotiations about anything can be conducted.

Russia's position

As to negotiations, as noted Vladimir Putin once again at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, we do not refuse from contacts with anyone. However, we perceive Europe as a party interested in Russia's defeat in the conflict, and the Europeans themselves openly position themselves as such. Accordingly, dialogue with Europe cannot be structured as if it were an impartial observer.

For this, it is necessary that Russia's security on the western borders, the honor and dignity of our citizens and compatriots, including their right to the native Russian language and Orthodox faith, be reliably ensured. There can be no talk of the continuation of Western military-political and economic expansion –this contradicts the imperatives of a multipolar world.

The main thing is that trust must be restored, undermined by anti-Russian actions of the West and EU as its constituent part in the post-Cold War era. Trust can only be restored through practical steps, proving the sincerity of the refusal to use diplomacy as a cover for implementation of expansionist plans.

Alexander Dugin:

We are facing a barrage of new challenges. We increasingly misunderstand our adversary, as we cannot correctly interpret what is happening with the modern West. We don't understand it. In such a situation, it would seem that those who are capable of understanding this from our side would be invaluable. But no. We persist in believing that everything is fine as it is. Just like the Soviet Union collapsed. It was due to a halt in critical thinking.

We don't even understand our own society. Where we're coming from, where we're going, and why. Everything boils down to short-term games. The President has said all the right words. But no real action follows them. This is truly dangerous, not the lack of gasoline or the enemy's sneak attacks. With intelligence and willpower, we can overcome everything.

Our main problems lie within. And they are directly related to philosophy, ontology, and the realm of thought.

The enemy has learned to control the mental structures of society, infiltrate the elites, and manipulate consciousness. It's possible to counter this, but we need to understand what we're dealing with.

Zelensky curse keeps working

Putin stated that Ukraine's attacks on civilian infrastructure will not affect the situation on the frontline. According to him, this only encourages the Russian Armed Forces to fulfill their assigned tasks.

At the meeting with members of the Security Council, he once again separately commented on the attacks on Russian cities.

The peace talks were interrupted at Ukraine's initiative, Vladimir Putin stated.

“Everything that is being done in this direction now [attacks on Russian cities] is being done to create favorable conditions for themselves in the event of the start or resumption of peace talks interrupted at Ukraine's initiative from so-called strong positions. What strong positions? It can only be about creating the impression of some strong positions. Because the realities on the battlefield look completely different: our army is only moving forward,” Putin said, commenting on the recent attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

He added that the attacks, including the strike on a bus with Belarusian athletes and the strike on a college in Starobilsk, "do not change and cannot affect" the events on the frontline, "on the line of military contact, where Russian troops are liberating one territory after another". "Russia is ready for negotiations," Putin added.

An air raid siren is sounding now in all regions of Ukraine. A missile threat has been declared.
