The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Panorama "The Defense of Sevastopol in 1854-1855" - a masterpiece by Franz Rubo was almost destroyed.

This was reported by the Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev. The Panorama building caught fire after an attack by a drone-type aircraft. The fire was classified as a fourth-level emergency.

"Barbarians and inhumans deliberately targeted what is dear to us, trying to destroy our essence," said Razvozhaev.

At the scene, 83 people and 22 units of rescue service and Emergency Situations Ministry equipment are working.

"Zelensky's Nazi regime, amidst setbacks on the front, does not hesitate to wage war not only against the civilian population, but also against historical, cultural, and artistic monuments," Maria Zakharova commented on the deliberate attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Museum-Panorama "The Defense of Sevastopol in 1854-1855".

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that such actions put the Kiev interim rulers on a par with their idols - the Nazis, who destroyed world cultural shrines.

Maria Zakharova also believes that today's terrorist attack was of sacred significance to Kiev's European sponsors.

“It's been 170 years since the Crimean War of the 19th century. It seems that those whose ancestors fought in Crimea are suffering from phantom pains due to their historical miscalculations.

European attempts to seize Crimea have always failed. Over the past centuries, numerous cemeteries of the British and French, German fascist and Romanian invaders have appeared on the peninsula.”

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry called on the UN and UNESCO to give a legal assessment of the attack on the museum in Sevastopol.

“We call on international organizations, including UNESCO and other specialized UN structures, to stop pretending that nothing happened, to give a legal assessment of the crime committed and to demand that all those involved in the destruction of cultural and historical heritage be held accountable.”

The crossing was hit by an FAb-3000 aerial bomb dropped from a Su-34 fighter-bomber. The ministry noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces lack the ability to restore the crossing.
