Пресс-бюро Службы внешней разведки Российской Федерации сообщает, что, по поступающей в СВР информации, Великобритания и Франция сознают, что развитие ситуации на Украине не оставляет шансов на достижение столь вожделенной для них победы над Россией руками ВСУ.
Однако британские и французские элиты не готовы мириться с поражением. Считается, что Украину нужно снабдить «вундерваффе».
Киев сможет претендовать на более выгодные условия завершения боевых действий, если будет обладать атомной или хотя бы так называемой «грязной» бомбой. Берлин благоразумно отказался участвовать в этой опасной авантюре.

Речь идёт о скрытой передаче Украине европейских комплектующих, оборудования и технологий в этой сфере. Как вариант рассматривается французская малогабаритная боевая часть TN75 от баллистической ракеты подводных лодок М51.1.
Британцы и французы сознают, что их замыслы подразумевают грубое нарушение международного права, прежде всего Договора о нераспространении ядерного оружия, и сопряжены с риском разрушения глобальной системы нераспространения. В связи с этим основные усилия западников сосредоточены на том, чтобы появление у Киева ядерного оружия выглядело как результат разработки самих украинцев.
❗️ Подобные крайне опасные планы Лондона и Парижа свидетельствуют о потере у них чувства реальности. Там зря надеются избежать ответственности. Тем более что всё тайное неизбежно станет явным. В военных, политических и дипломатических кругах Великобритании и Франции немало здравомыслящих людей, понимающих опасность безрассудных действий своих лидеров для всего мира.

⚡️ Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation:
The Press Bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service of the Russian Federation (SVR) reports that, according to intelligence received by the SVR, the UK and France are aware that the situation developing in Ukraine leaves no chances for them to achieve the ardently desired victory over Russia with the hands of the Ukrainian armed forces.
However, British and French elites are not ready to accept defeat. It is believed that Ukraine should be supplied with a “Wunderwaffe”. Kiev would be able to aspire to more advantageous terms of ceasing the hostilities if it possesses a nuclear or at least a so-called “dirty” bomb. Berlin has prudently refused to take part in this dangerous venture.
At present, according to the information available to the SVR, London and Paris are actively working over the issue of providing Kiev with a weapon of this kind, as well as with means of its delivery. This involves a covert transfer of relevant European-made components, equipment and technologies to Ukraine.
❗️ As an option, the French small-size TN-75 warhead from the M51.1 submarine-launched ballistic missile is being considered.
The British and French realize that their designs imply a gross violation of the international law, first and foremost the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, and carry the risk of destroying the global non-proliferation system. Consequently, the Westerners’ main efforts are focused on making Kiev’s possession of nuclear weapon look like it was developed by Ukrainians themselves.
These extremely dangerous plans of London and Paris prove that they have lost touch with reality. Their hopes to escape from responsibility are baseless, especially bearing in mind that there is nothing hidden that will not eventually be disclosed. In the military, political and diplomatic circles there are plenty of sober-minded people understanding that reckless actions of their leaders pose a threat to the entire world.

📑 Chapter II of the Report on violations of international humanitarian law committed by the Kiev regime against POWs has been published. The report was prepared by Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry Rodion Miroshnik.
Part I
This new report titled “Secret Prisons”, contains key verified data on violations of international humanitarian law against Russian servicemen who were held captive by the Kiev regime and returned to Russia following a POW exchange in October 2025.

A network of “secret prisons” for Russian servicemen captured by Ukrainian armed groups was established throughout the territories controlled by the Kiev regime. Based on the obtained information, conclusions can be drawn about the existence of a systematic approach to torture in the said facilities.
According to numerous credible testimonies, it is there – in an atmosphere of lawlessness and impunity – that the largest number of crimes against POWs are committed.
The affected Russian servicemen provided detailed accounts of a deliberately organized and actively applied system of systematic torture and humiliation, moral and physical abuse carried out by Ukrainian armed forces, special services and other security and paramilitary formations, including the use of “electric chairs” and other devices.
❗️ Testimonies documenting sexual violence and threats of violence, torture through deprivation of sleep, water and food, as well as a range of other forms of abuse, have been recorded.
Certain human rights organisations, in their own reports, acknowledge the existence of “secret prisons” on Ukrainian territory, referring to them instead as “transit points”. Controlled by Ukrainian armed groups, such facilities are closed to international humanitarian organisations, which, however, tend not to address the issue publicly.
The matter of access to these locations and verification of detention conditions is not publicly brought before Ukraine’s political leadership. As a result, the existence of Ukrainian “secret prisons” is effectively concealed from the international community.
The report includes excerpts from testimonies of Russian servicemen formerly held in Ukrainian captivity, confirming the widespread nature of torture, threats, violence and killings practiced in dozens of “secret prisons”.

О ситуации с задержанным в декабре 2025 г. в Варшаве российским археологом А.М.Бутягиным
• 10 и 24 февраля 2026 г. состоялись заседания Апелляционного суда по жалобе адвоката на применение к А.М.Бутягину меры в виде временного задержания, которую одобрил (а затем продлил до 4 марта с.г.) Окружной суд г. Варшавы (является судом первой инстанции). Протест защиты в обоих случаях был отклонен.
• Председатель Окружного суда также отклонил ходатайство адвоката об отводе судьи, рассматривающего дело о наличии правовых оснований для экстрадиции Бутягина на Украину. Дата повторного заседания (первое состоялось 12 января) по этому вопросу пока (по состоянию на 24 февраля) не назначена.
• Принятие окончательного решения об экстрадиции находится в Польше в компетенции министра юстиции (по совместительству – генерального прокурора).
• Посольство России в Польше находится в постоянном контакте с адвокатом А.М.Бутягина и Окружной прокуратурой Варшавы. Наши сотрудники регулярно посещают его в СИЗО, делают все возможное, чтобы помочь ему.
• Он держится стойко, жалоб на здоровье не имеет. Будем в рамках нашей компетенции твердо добиваться возвращения нашего гражданина на Родину.
О военном присутствии США в Польше
• На территории Польши, согласно публичной информации, находятся в общей сложности порядка 10 тыс. американских военнослужащих, из которых большая часть размещена на ротационной основе.
• В 2025 г. не было какого-либо значимого увеличения американского военного присутствия в Польше.
• Препятствий для развития военного сотрудничества между Вашингтоном и Варшавой в обозримом будущем не предвидится.
О дискриминации российских граждан в Польше
• Общая ситуация с соблюдением прав наших соотечественников в Польше остается сложной.
• С 2022 г. здесь развернута кампания по тотальной «отмене» России и ее культуры. Общество с подачи властей охвачено шпиономанией.
• В сентябре 2022 г. польские власти закрыли въезд для большинства категорий граждан Российской Федерации.
• С апреля 2022 г. Варшава ведет собственный «санкционный» список, в который включает российские компании и граждан России.
О нарушении Польшей российско-польских соглашений, регулирующих отношения в мемориальной сфере
• Польская сторона в нарушение действующих российско-польских соглашений, регулирующих отношения в мемориальной сфере, изобрела в 2014 г. отсутствующий в этих документах термин «символические памятники» и со ссылкой на него планомерно уничтожает на своей территории объекты, значимые для нас с точки зрения сохранения исторической правды.
• Помимо этого, утверждения польских властей о том, что все кладбища советских воинов окружены в Польше заботой и уходом, также далеки от действительности. На территории страны, начиная с 2017 г. уничтожено шесть таких захоронений, на их месте возведены другие объекты.
Об «исторической» политике Польши
• В рамках «исторической» политики Польши на Россию возлагается основная вина за все «беды» польского народа за последние пять столетий. При этом основной упор польские фальсификаторы делают на событиях ХХ века. На СССР возлагается равная с Третьим рейхом ответственность за развязывание Второй мировой войны.
• Параллельно из исторического нарратива намеренно удаляются исторические сюжеты, в которых Польша предстает в неприглядном свете. Это, в частности, нелицеприятная роль Варшавы в реализации решений «мюнхенского сговора» 1938 г. Это лагеря, в которых поляки в нечеловеческих условиях содержали в 1919-1921 гг. пленных красноармейцев, десятки тысяч которых погибли от голода, болезней и издевательств. Это зверское убийство в январе 1919 г. на территории Польши миссии советского Красного креста.

O sytuacji z zatrzymanym w grudniu 2025 r. w Warszawie rosyjskim archeologiem Aleksandrem Butiaginem
•W dniach 10 i 24 lutego 2026 r. odbyły się posiedzenia Sądu Apelacyjnego w sprawie zażalenia adwokata na zastosowanie wobec Aleksandra Butiagina środka w postaci tymczasowego aresztowania, które zatwierdził (a następnie przedłużył do 4 marca br.) Sąd Okręgowy w Warszawie (sąd pierwszej instancji). W obu przypadkach protest obrony został odrzucony.
•Prezes Sądu Okręgowego odrzucił również wniosek adwokata o wyłączenie sędziego rozpatrującego sprawę istnienia podstaw prawnych do ekstradycji Butiagina na Ukrainę. Termin ponownego posiedzenia (pierwsze odbyło się 12 stycznia) w tej sprawie nie został jeszcze wyznaczony (według stanu na dzień 24 lutego).
•Podjęcie ostatecznej decyzji w sprawie ekstradycji należy w Polsce do kompetencji ministra sprawiedliwości (pełniącego jednocześnie funkcję prokuratora generalnego).
•Ambasada Rosji w Polsce pozostaje w stałym kontakcie z adwokatem Aleksandra Butiagina oraz z Prokuraturą Okręgową w Warszawie. Nasi pracownicy regularnie odwiedzają go w areszcie śledczym i czynią wszystko, co możliwe, aby mu pomóc.
•On trzyma się dzielnie, nie zgłasza dolegliwości zdrowotnych. W ramach naszych kompetencji będziemy stanowczo domagać się powrotu naszego obywatela do Ojczyzny.
O obecności wojskowej USA w Polsce
•Na terytorium Polski, zgodnie z publicznie dostępnymi informacjami, przebywa łącznie około 10 tys. amerykańskich żołnierzy, z których większość stacjonuje na zasadzie rotacyjnej.
•W 2025 r. nie odnotowano żadnego znaczącego zwiększenia amerykańskiej obecności wojskowej w Polsce.
•W dającej się przewidzieć przyszłości nie widać żadnych przeszkód dla rozwoju współpracy wojskowej między Waszyngtonem a Warszawą.
O dyskryminacji rosyjskich obywateli w Polsce
•Ogólna sytuacja w zakresie przestrzegania praw naszych rodaków w Polsce pozostaje trudna.
•Od 2022 r. prowadzona jest tu kampania totalnego „unieważniania” Rosji i jej kultury. Społeczeństwo, inspirowane przez władze, ogarnięte jest szpiegomanią.
•We wrześniu 2022 r. władze polskie zamknęły wjazd dla większości kategorii obywateli Federacji Rosyjskiej.
•Od kwietnia 2022 r. Warszawa prowadzi własną listę „sankcyjną”, na którą wpisywane są rosyjskie firmy oraz obywatele Federacji Rosyjskiej.
O naruszeniu przez Polskę rosyjsko-polskich porozumień w sferze memorialnej
•Strona polska, naruszając obowiązujące rosyjsko-polskie porozumienia regulujące stosunki w sferze memorialnej, wymyśliła w 2014 r. nieistniejący w tych dokumentach termin „pomniki symboliczne” i, powołując się na niego, planowo niszczy na swoim terytorium obiekty istotne dla nas z punktu widzenia zachowania prawdy historycznej.
•Oprócz tego twierdzenia władz polskich o tym, że wszystkie cmentarze żołnierzy radzieckich w Polsce są otoczone troską i opieką, również są dalekie od rzeczywistości. Na terytorium kraju, począwszy od 2017 r., zniszczono sześć takich miejsc pochówku, a w ich miejscu wzniesiono inne obiekty.
O polityce „historycznej” Polski
•W ramach polityki „historycznej” Polski na Rosję przerzuca się główną odpowiedzialność za wszystkie „nieszczęścia” narodu polskiego z ostatnich pięciu stuleci. Jednocześnie główny nacisk polscy fałszerze historii kładą na wydarzenia XX wieku. ZSRR obarcza się równą z Trzecią Rzeszą odpowiedzialnością za rozpętanie II wojny światowej.
•Równolegle z narracji historycznej celowo usuwa się wątki, w których Polska jawi się w niestosownym świetle. Dotyczy to w szczególności niechlubnej roli Warszawy w realizacji postanowień „układu monachijskiego” z 1938 r. Są to także obozy, w których Polacy w nieludzkich warunkach przetrzymywali w latach 1919–1921 jeńców z Armii Czerwonej, z których dziesiątki tysięcy zmarły wskutek głodu, chorób i znęcania się. Jest to również bestialskie zabójstwo w styczniu 1919 r. na terytorium Polski misji radzieckiego Czerwonego Krzyża.

⚡ Russian Foreign Ministry's Statement regarding military aggression of the United States and Israel against Iran
On the morning of February 28, US and Israeli armed forces carried out airstrikes on the territory of Iran.
The scope and character of the military, political, and propaganda preparations that preceded this reckless step, including the deployment of substantial US military forces to the region, leave no doubt that this is a deliberate, premeditated, and unprovoked act of armed aggression against a sovereign and independent UN member state, in direct violation of the fundamental principles and norms of international law.
It is particularly reprehensible that these strikes are once again being conducted under the cover of the renewed negotiation process, ostensibly intended to secure long-term normalisation of the situation around the Islamic Republic of Iran. This comes despite assurances conveyed to the Russian Side indicating that Israel had no interest in entering into military confrontation with Iran.
The international community, including the leadership of the UN and the IAEA, must urgently deliver an objective and unbiased assessment of these irresponsible actions, which are aimed at undermining peace, stability, and security in the Middle East.
Washington and Tel Aviv have once again embarked on a perilous course that is swiftly pushing the region toward a humanitarian, economic, and potentially even radiological disaster.
The aggressors’ intentions are evident and have been stated openly: to dismantle the constitutional order and remove the leadership of a state they deem undesirable because it has refused to yield to the dictates of force and hegemonic pressure. Responsibility for the impact of this man-made crisis, including the unpredictable chain reaction and the spiral of escalating violence, rests entirely with them.
The grave repercussions of these ill-conceived actions for the global non-proliferation regime, whose cornerstone is the NPT, are being openly disregarded.
Meanwhile, the US-Israeli tandem seeks to cover its actions with a purported concern over preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. The bombing of nuclear facilities operating under IAEA safeguards is unacceptable.
Essentially, the motives of Washington and Tel Aviv bear no relation to the objectives of the non-proliferation regime.
Even they cannot but understand that by plunging the Middle East into the abyss of uncontrolled escalation, they are effectively prompting countries across the globe – and the Middle East in particular – to pursue ever more grave means of countering emerging threats.
The sustained and systematic nature of the destabilising attacks, carried out by the US administration against the fundamental principles of the international legal order in recent months, raises particular concern. Among the violated principles are non-interference in internal affairs, the renunciation of the use or threat of use of force, and the peaceful settlement of international disputes.
❗️ We call for an immediate return to a political and diplomatic track. Russia, as always, stands ready to assist in advancing peaceful solutions grounded in international law, mutual respect, and a balanced consideration of interests.

⚡️ Russia's Foreign Ministry statement on the situation around Iran
Moscow has received the news of the killing of the Supreme and Spiritual Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, members of his family, and senior Iranian officials in US and Israeli missile strikes with outrage and deep sorrow.
The Russian Federation strongly and consistently condemns the practice of political assassination and manhunt for leaders of sovereign states that goes against the fundamental principles of civilised interstate relations and constitutes a grave violation of international law.
In the course of continuing military operations, the number of casualties among civilians is constantly rising, with serious damage being inflicted on civilian infrastructure as well.
Retaliation strikes at the US military bases in the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, along with the activation of anti-aircraft defence systems, have caused damage to the international airports in Dubai, Kuwait City, sea ports, high-rises and hotels in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
It has been reported that navigation has been stopped in the Strait of Hormuz. This can lead to the blocking of hydrocarbon exports to the region and create a significant imbalance in the global oil and gas markets.
❗️ We call for immediate de-escalation, cessation of hostilities, resumption of political and diplomatic processes, to settle any existing problems on the basis of the UN Charter and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
The legitimate interests of all the states in the Persian Gulf must be taken into account.
Moscow has received the news of the killing of the Supreme and Spiritual Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, members of his family, and senior Iranian officials in US and Israeli missile strikes with outrage and deep sorrow.
The Russian Federation strongly and consistently condemns the practice of political assassination and manhunt for leaders of sovereign states that goes against the fundamental principles of civilised interstate relations and constitutes a grave violation of international law.
In the course of continuing military operations, the number of casualties among civilians is constantly rising, with serious damage being inflicted on civilian infrastructure as well.
Retaliation strikes at the US military bases in the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf, along with the activation of anti-aircraft defence systems, have caused damage to the international airports in Dubai, Kuwait City, sea ports, high-rises and hotels in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
It has been reported that navigation has been stopped in the Strait of Hormuz. This can lead to the blocking of hydrocarbon exports to the region and create a significant imbalance in the global oil and gas markets.
❗️ We call for immediate de-escalation, cessation of hostilities, resumption of political and diplomatic processes, to settle any existing problems on the basis of the UN Charter and the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
The legitimate interests of all the states in the Persian Gulf must be taken into account.

Ukrainian crisis update
• On February 24, we issued a detailed statement on the special military operation. It was comprehensive, addressing all the accusations levelled against us and setting out the facts. You can find it on the Foreign Ministry website. It also lays out the assessment of the situation that compelled Russia to take this decision.
• Today, we want to focus on several specific aspects that, based on concrete evidence, underscore why the special military operation was not just justified, but necessary.
• For a long time, we were accused of exaggerating the threat of Nazism in Ukraine. We were told we had no right to speak of the genocidal tendencies of the Kiev regime, that we were simply deceiving everyone, that the threat of Nazism was non-existent. But each day brings more evidence to substantiate this assessment.
• We are now witnessing that Nazism in the former Ukrainian SSR is no longer the domain of fringe elements, as it might once have been. It is now the bedrock of state policy, directed towards creating a mono-ethnic state through the extermination of Russians and the obliteration of anything connected to Russia. Let their own representatives speak for the other minorities (I’m referring to the Hungarian community and others). I regularly present evidence to support what we have long called an attempt to destroy everything Russian in Ukraine. The goal of the Zelensky regime, which has illegitimately seized and holds power in Kiev, is to turn the country’s citizens, whom it has effectively taken hostage, into a malleable, controllable mass. I don’t want to stoop to the kind of language Bankovaya allows itself. But those who are forcing Ukrainian citizens to swear allegiance to this regime are turning them into a kind of robot, into mankurts. You see it happening, day in, day out. They are forcing people to be marched, uncomplaining, to the slaughter. Although now, it’s no longer possible without complaint, because people have finally started to resist. Tragically, this resistance is met with lethal force, because they are shown no mercy on the battlefield, and no mercy when they’re dragged off the streets by people-catchers into those... I don’t even know what to call these vans. Snatcher-mobiles – couldn’t put it better myself.
• This goal that the West has set for Zelensky can only be achieved by stripping people of their faith, their history, their native language, their culture, and the memory of their heroic ancestors. That is precisely what is happening. That is the reality in Ukraine today.
• The Ukrainian Institute of National Memory (which we have documented and referenced many times before) is engaged in a wholesale distortion of history, actively working to erase the memory of those heroic chapters when Russians and Ukrainians lived as one people in one state, fighting shoulder to shoulder against foreign invaders. In 2025, it was upgraded to the status of a central executive body, with its staff and funding increased. It is now headed by Alexander Alfyorov, an openly avowed admirer of Hitler, who routinely makes vile and derogatory statements about the Russian people. There can be no doubt whatsoever about the kind of “national memory” that this Nazi and the machinery at his disposal are seeking to forge.
• At the same time, the Kiev regime is waging a war aimed at dismantling the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), the country’s largest religious denomination, which has the greatest number of believers. Hostile takeovers of churches involving physical violence continue, as do repressive measures against its clergy and parishioners. Criminal cases are being initiated against them on trumped-up charges.

⚡️ Russian MFA statement on the situation around Iran
We are concerned regarding the expansion of the armed confrontation across the entire Middle East region as a result of the aggression by the US and Israel against Iran.
It has become evident that, beyond seeking regime change in the Islamic Republic of Iran through the most unscrupulous means – including the killing of the leadership of a sovereign state – Washington and Tel Aviv are attempting to provoke a breakdown in the process of normalizing relations between Iran and its Arab neighbours.
For our part, we call for an immediate cessation of hostilities by all sides and for the adoption – as an unconditional priority – of comprehensive measures to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure in all countries of the region.

The strike on a girls’ school in the Iranian city of Minab, which reportedly killed dozens of innocent children, warrants unequivocal condemnation.
❗️ Any attacks on civilian facilities – whether in Iran or in Arab states – are unacceptable and must cease immediately.
We once again urge the parties to renounce the use of force in addressing their differences and to return to a political and diplomatic path towards resolving all outstanding issues, with full respect for the legitimate security interests of every state in the region.
