بحثت جمعية الصداقة البرلمانية الأردنية – الروسية، برئاسة النائب الدكتور عبد الهادي البريزات، اليوم الأحد، مع سفير جمهورية روسيا الاتحادية المعتمد لدى المملكة، غليب ديسياتنيكوف، آفاق التعاون البرلماني، وأوجه العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين الصديقين، وسبل تطويرها في مختلف المجالات.
وقال البريزات، إن جمعيات الصداقة البرلمانية في البلدين تمثل رافعة مهمة لتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية وتنسيق المواقف في المحافل البرلمانية الدولية، بما يعكس عمق علاقات الصداقة بين الأردن وروسيا التي تمتد جذورها لعقود طويلة، والتي قامت على أسس من الاحترام المتبادل والتعاون المثمر.
وأكد عمق العلاقات التاريخية التي تجمع الأردن وروسيا، مشيرا إلى أن هذه العلاقات تحظى برعاية ودعم من جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني والرئيس فلاديمير بوتين، وتشهد حاليا تطورا متواصلا في مختلف الميادين، لا سيما بعد توقيع اتفاقية إلغاء متطلبات تأشيرات الدخول لمواطني البلدين، والتحضيرات الجارية لانعقاد اللجنة الأردنية الروسية المشتركة للتعاون الاقتصادي والتجاري قبل نهاية العام في موسكو.

⚡️ Russia's Foreign Ministry’s statement on Israeli strikes against Doha
On September 9, Israel carried out a series of airstrikes on buildings in a residential district of Doha, the capital of Qatar, targeting senior leaders of the Palestinian movement Hamas. According to available information, six people were killed in the attack, including an employee of Qatar’s Interior Ministry, and several others were injured.
❗️ Russia regards these actions as a flagrant violation of international law and the UN Charter, an encroachment on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent state and a step that risks further escalation and destabilisation in the Middle East. Such methods of dealing with those whom Israel considers its enemies and opponents deserve the strongest condemnation.
At the same time, the missile strike on Qatar – a country playing a key mediating role in indirect talks between Hamas and the Israeli leadership on ending the nearly two-year-long war in Gaza and securing the release of those held captive – can only be seen as an attempt to undermine international efforts to find a peaceful solution.
☝️ In this regard, Moscow once again calls on all parties involved to act responsibly and to refrain from steps that could further degrade the situation in the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and complicate the search for a political settlement.
Russia reaffirms its principled and consistent position on the need for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. We firmly believe that a comprehensive settlement of the Palestinian question, on the well-established international legal basis, is the only viable way forward.

They highlighted the importance of efforts to maintain the high dynamics of the political dialogue between Moscow and Riyadh and intensify joint work to expand trade, economic, investment, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

🇷🇺🇧🇭 On September 11, on the sidelines of the eighth ministerial meeting of the Russia – Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Strategic Dialogue in Sochi, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.
While exchanging opinions on the current issues on the Middle Eastern agenda the Foreign Ministers focused on settling crisis situations, including in the zone of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
The Ministers also discussed further development of the traditionally friendly Russian-Bahraini relations, including extension of cooperation in trade, the economy, investment, culture and the humanitarian area.
They underscored their orientation towards enhancing bilateral political coordination, including the election of Bahrain as a nonpermanent member of the UN Security Council.
