⚡️ Russian Defence Ministry is analysing the situation at Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.

🔹 Since July 18, the station has been subjected to systematic shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces.

🔹 The Ukrainian side, together with their US handlers, are trying to play the card by causing what they believe to be a minor accident at the nuclear power plant and thus disrupting its normal and safe operation, blaming it on Russia.

🔹 We are ready to provide the IAEA with real high-resolution images, a sample placed on a slide, which shows that we do not place weapons on the territory of this station.

🔹 The US is keeping silent on objective data about the shelling and the situation at the nuclear power plant, thereby encouraging impunity for the Kiev regime and contributing to a possible nuclear catastrophe in Europe.

🔹 The ultimate goal of the provocation is to create an exclusion zone of up to 30 km, to bring foreign observers to ZNPP territory, and to accuse the Russian Armed Forces of nuclear terrorism.

The President of Russia congratulated Joko Widodo and the people of Indonesia on their national holiday, Independence Day, which was celebrated on August 17.

The Presidents considered current issues pertaining to the development of Russian-Indonesian relations, with a focus on implementing agreements reached during Joko Widodo’s recent visit to Russia, including the promotion of a number of bilateral trade and economic projects.

They also discussed global food security. Among other things, Vladimir Putin informed his counterpart about the efforts to stabilise the global grain and fertiliser situation, which Russia has been making jointly with Turkiye and the UN Secretariat.

With Indonesia’s G20 Presidency in mind, they touched upon the subject of preparations for the G20 summit on Bali, scheduled for November of this year.

The conversation touched upon a wide range of issues related to the conflict in Donbass:

• origins of the conflict:
- Armed coup in Kiev,
- seizure of power by Ukrainian radical nationalists,
- officially declared aggressive intentions against the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine, primarily in Crimea and Donbass;
• The attack of armed radical nationalists on peaceful citizens:
- Korsun-Shevchenkovsky on February 20, 2014,
- Odessa on May 02, 2014,
- Mariupol on May 09, 2014,
- Air strike in the center of Lugansk on June 02, 2014;
• The actual refusal of the state of Ukraine to perform the functions of the state with respect to the territory and population of the Lugansk People's Republic;
• The launch of the active phase of armed aggression in Donbass by armed formations of Ukraine;

⚡️Against the backdrop of military defeats in Donbasы and elsewhere, the Zelenskyi regime sanctioned terrorist acts involving the use of chemical poisoning substances against Russian servicemen and civilians.

▫️On July 31, Russian servicemen carrying out tasks near Vasil'evka, Zaporizhzhya Region, were taken to a military hospital with signs of severe poisoning. As a result of examination, toxic substance, botulinum toxin type B, was found in servicemen' organisms.

▫️In order to establish the cause of the poisoning, specialists from the Main Research and Testing Institute of Military Medicine of the Russian Ministry of Defense (St. Petersburg) conducted an additional analysis, which unequivocally confirmed the presence of an organic poison of artificial origin - botulinum toxin type B.

▫️At present, the Russian Federation is preparing supporting documents with the results of all the analyses carried out on the chemical terrorism sanctioned by the Zelenskyi regime.

▫️The evidence of the Kiev regime's chemical terrorism will soon be officially sent to the OPCW through the Russian Permanent Mission.

▫️Given the evidence of State terrorism by the Kiev regime, an additional investigation is under way regarding the poisoning with chemical substances of the head of the provisional administration of Kherson Region, Vladimir Sal'do.

❗️ On August 14, the "Azov Brain Rot" documentary premiered. The film features exclusive footage and eyewitness accounts, as well as filmed testimonials by captured Azov militants and foreign mercenaries who surrendered in Mariupol. In addition, the film contains expert commentary and accounts of the civilians who were tortured and humiliated by neo-Nazis.

The documentary elaborates on the ideology of nationalist battalions as well as their neo-pagan beliefs and the widespread use of Nazi symbols.

The film’s creator, journalist, and television host Marina Kim visited the detention facilities where Azov members were being held captive in Yelenovka (DPR), days before the Ukrainian Army attack using a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher. The attack killed more than 50 prisoners of war.
