🔸 Ukraine was chosen to be anti-Russia, as we say. The organizers of the illegal coup d’etat in February, 2014 were not called to discipline by their Western sponsors.

🔸 The regime was going in a very aggressive and Neo-Nazi direction. We have been drawing the attention of our Western colleagues to these facts during all these long seven years as the Minsk Agreements were sabotaged and Russian culture and everything being Russian was eroded from Ukrainian life.

🔸 It is not about Ukraine, but about the future of the world order.

🔸 We are at the beginning of a new era, which would be a movement towards real multilateralism, not to the multilateralism, which the West tries to impose on the basis of the exceptional role of the Western civilization in the modern world. And I think the movement is unstoppable.

On 24 July, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov visited the headquarters of the Arab League and met with the organisation’s Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit.

🤝 During their conversation, Sergey Lavrov and Ahmed Aboul Gheit expressed satisfaction with the high level of interaction between Russia and the Arab League in the interests of resolving crises in the Middle East and North Africa and strengthening regional security and stability.

The officials reaffirmed their mutual interest in invigorating Russian-Arab business ties with the aim of expanding trade, promoting industrial co-production arrangements and implementing joint projects in Russia and Arab League countries.

🎙 Sergey Lavrov addressed permanent representatives of Arab League countries at the Arab League headquarters and informed them, in great detail, about the goals and tasks of the special military operation in Ukraine.

🇷🇺🇺🇬 Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived in Uganda on a working visit.

At the airport of Entebbe, he was met by his counterpart, Ugandan Foreign Minister Jeje Odongo.

⚠️ Russian Federation's Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response continues to record numerous facts of criminal actions by Kiev regime against civilians, as well as the use of medical infrastructure for military purposes by Ukrainian armed formations:

in Donetsk People's Republic ⬇️

🔹in Druzhkovka, territorial defence units are stationed on the territory of Vocational School No. 36 (Sobornaya Street), roadblocks and firing points are deployed, and the approaches to the school are mined, but the local population is deliberately not informed of this;

🔹in Zaliznoye, Ukrainian neo-Nazis have equipped a stronghold in the House of Culture (Pioneer Avenue) and placed arms and ammunition depots, without evacuating the local population from nearby residential buildings;

🔹in Artemovsk, AFU servucemen have equipped firing positions and ammunition depots on the lower and upper floors of apartment buildings (Rozhdestvenskaya Street), local residents are prohibited from leaving their flats, and any attempts by citizens to evacuate to safe areas are harshly suppressed;

🔹in Semenovka, Ukrainian militants have equipped firing points, artillery and MLRS in residential areas, from which they systematically shell positions of the Russian Armed Forces and formations of Donetsk People's Republic.

▫️However, the residents are kept in their homes, effectively using them as human shields.

▫️The nationalists, feeling their complete impunity, seize valuable property and foodstuffs from people under the threat of weapons, ostensibly for the needs of territorial defence.

❗️Citizens who resist in any way are accused of pro-Russian views and subjected to physical violence.

▫️Such actions by Kiev once again demonstrate an inhuman attitude towards the fate of its own citizens and show a complete disregard for all norms of morality and international humanitarian law.

⚔️ On July 28, 1944, the Red Army liberated Brest, famous fortified city that was among the first to come under the strike of the Nazi invaders and became the embodiment of Soviet resistance. In June 1941, its defenders repelled attacks by superior enemy forces for almost a month.

The Soviet soldiers who liberated Brest found inscriptions written by its heroic defenders on the fortress’ ruins. These inscriptions, some signed, others anonymous, covered the floors and walls. In them, the Red Army soldiers said goodbye to their Motherland and families, while declaring their determination to fight to the death.

🎖 In 1965, Brest was awarded Hero Fortress title. Six years later, a memorial complex comprising the ruins of the White Palace opened at the fortress.

⚠️ According to reliable information, militants of Ukrainian armed formations in Artemovsk, Donetsk People's Republic, have mined the dam of the city reservoir, which they plan to blow up, after which the Kiev authorities will accuse the Russian Armed Forces of allegedly indiscriminate strikes on hydrodynamic hazardous facilities, following a well-established scenario with extensive spread in the Ukrainian and Western media.

▫️If this inhumane provocation comes true, residential neighbourhoods with a population of over 35,000 will be in the potential flood zone.

▫️In addition, once the water leaves, the life-support systems (water supply, sewerage and wastewater treatment plants) may be damaged, leading to a drastic deterioration of the sanitary and epidemiological situation.

❗️We warn the international community and international organisations in advance of an impending provocation that could result in civilian casualties.

▫️Once again, it should be emphasized that during the special military operation, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation do not strike civilian objects.

⚠️ AFU and territorial defence units continue to use residential buildings, educational institutions and other social infrastructure for military purposes:

🔹in Krivoi Rog, AFU units are stationed in residential buildings (Volshebnaya Street), weapons and ammunition depots are euipped, while no local residents have been evacuated;

🔹in Novodmitrovka, Donetsk People's Republic, militants of nationalist battalions have deployed artillery and MLRS on the territory of an agricultural enterprise, from which they systematically shell positions of the Russian Armed Forces, provoking them to return fire;

🔹in Dnepr, territorial defence units are deployed on the territory of industrial school (Sergei Nigoyan Avenue) and in dormitory building of national university (Gagarin Avenue), and ammunition storage facilities are equipped, while there has been no deliberate evacuation of residents from nearby houses.

▫️These facts once again demonstrate the Kiev authorities' complete disregard for the norms of international humanitarian law.

▫️Despite repeated statements by the Russian Federation's Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response, such cynical actions by the Kiev regime have so far remained unnoticed by the international community.

⚡️ Russian Defence Ministry:

💬 The Ukrainian Armed Forces using US-made HIMARS MLRS struck a detention centre near Elenovka, where Ukrainian servicemen, including Azov fighters, are being held.

❗️ 40 Ukrainian POWs were killed and 75 injured. In addition, 8 employees of detention centre were injured to varying degrees of severity.

☝️ A large number of Ukrainian soldiers are now voluntarily laying down their arms, knowing the humane treatment of prisoners of war on the Russian side.

This blatant provocation was committed in order to intimidate Ukrainian servicemen and prevent their surrender.

The circumstances of this provocation are being investigated.

🇷🇺🇺🇸📞 On July 29, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, at the latter’s initiative.

The ministers discussed current developments in Ukraine.

❗FM Lavrov drew the Secretary of State’s attention to the fact that the continued arming of the armed forces of Ukraine and nationalist battalions with US and NATO weapons is only prolonging the agony of the Kiev regime by dragging out the conflict and increasing the number of victims. Sergey Lavrov stressed that the armed forces of Russia strictly observe the norms of international law and that Russia has engaged in consistent efforts to restore peaceful life on the territories that it is liberating.

They also exchanged views on the problems besetting bilateral relations. As for the potential prisoner swap between the countries, Sergey Lavrov strongly advised a return to professional dialogue in the context of “quiet diplomacy” without any dubious media leaks.

▪️ Cruelty of Ukrainian nationalists, their indifference to the people of southern and eastern Ukraine have affected the spirit of those who live there. In Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, people stand lines to apply for Russian passports. Despite the fact that Ukrainian authorities intimidate their citizens in every possible way, committing acts of terror against employees of civil administrations and initiating criminal prosecution for transfer into the Russian citizenship, people still make their choice in favor of a country they trust, in favor of a normal future for themselves and their children. Ukraine is losing those people by the minute – the way it lost the people of Donbas once the Kiev regime waged a war of extermination on them back in 2014.

▪️ The Kiev regime tries to exact vengeance even on its own military who finally realized the futility of fulfilling the criminal orders and surrendered to have a chance for redemption and peaceful life. US-made HIMARS MLRS struck a detention center near Elenovka in Donbas earlier today, killing more than 50 Ukrainian PoWs. However this scare tactic will only encourage Ukrainian servicemen to surrender. There are mass cases when Ukrainian soldiers refuse to continue fighting. We see such instances daily.

▪️ Reckless “pumping up” of Ukraine with weapons, artillery systems, and firearms trigger a situation when, due to flourishing corruption among Ukrainian political and military leadership, those weapons spread throughout Europe. We know that a considerable part of it goes from warehouses straight into the hands of smugglers and then, via established channels – to the global black market of arms. Such information is almost openly publicized at corresponding web resources. The problem has assumed such a huge scope that even mainstream Western media can no longer turn a blind eye to it.

Even Europol had to recognize this. Last week its spokesperson Jan Op Gen Oorth said in a comment to DPA that Europol was aware of reports about trade in heavy weapons. He also admitted that European law enforcement had some information about firearms being smuggled out of Ukraine. The spokesperson stressed that there remained risks of those arms falling in the hands of organized crime or terrorists.

▪️ You know what President Zelensky of Ukraine said the night the UAF killed 5 children in a row? Do you think he extended his condolences to the parents who had lost what was the most precious in their lives? Far from it! I will cite his words. He said, “finally it is felt that the Western artillery—the weapons we received from our partners— started working very powerfully. Its accuracy is exactly as needed.”

I am now turning to my American, British, and French colleagues sitting at this table. I want you to understand clearly this one thing – your countries deliver weapons to Ukraine, weapons that are purchased with your taxpayers’ money, and those weapons kill children. And President of Ukraine mocks at this, praising the accuracy of those weapons. Is it what you wanted? If not, where are your words of condemnation of this unthinkable profanity?
