🔎 RIA Novosti have launched a new special project - a journalistic investigation “Joint. Drug War of Ukraine Against Russia".
The project presents hard evidence of the hybrid war launched by Kiev against our country 8 years ago with the main goal to “drown the Russians in drugs”.

The Interior Ministry’s Centre for Information and Analysis has reported an annual increase in the trafficking of synthetic drugs in our country, from 5 percent of the market in 2014 to 60 percent in 2021.
Security services officers told RIA Novosti that Ukrainians set up laboratories in border regions to smuggle drugs into Russia or organise their manufacturing and sale in Russia.
In 2019, 62 kg of drugs were confiscated in the Belgorod Region. The figure increased nearly nine-fold, to 534 kg, in 2020. The figure doubled in 2021, when security services confiscated 1,066 kg.

📆 Today marks the 239th Anniversary of the foundation of Sevastopol. It was on this day in 1783 that Rear Admiral Thomas MacKenzie ordered to lay the foundations of the first four stone structures in Sevastopol: a house for the commander of the Sevastopol naval squadron, a chapel, a smithy in the Admiralty, and a wharf, which was later given the name of Grafskaya.
❗️ An important landmark in the contemporary history of Sevastopol was undoubtedly the March 16, 2014 Crimean referendum on the status of Crimea. As a result of the vote, 95.6% of referendum participants spoke in favour of the city joining the Russian Federation.
🇷🇺 Today, the legendary Sevastopol retains its honorary title as the main base of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, a city of martial glory and valour of Russian sailors.

🔷 The Ukrainian military continue to shell civilians. Recently their assaults have intensified. And on June 13 the Kiev regime launched a large-scale shelling of the city of Donetsk and adjacent areas in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
🔷 This shelling could not bring to Kiev any military advantage as Donetsk is not on the line of contact. There are no military objects where the shells fell. The Ukrainian military deliberately targeted civilian districts and infrastructure – hospitals, markets, residential areas.
🔷 It is a disgrace that the Western media largely stay blind, deaf and numb to these appalling incidents. And those who speak up, only do so to promote nonsense that the city was shelled by the Russian forces.
🔷 I would like to say to the Western countries supplying weaponry to Ukraine – the blood of civilians is on your hands.

They also discussed in detail issues of food security, including the supply of Russian agricultural products and fertilisers to the African continent, in particular South Africa.
The leaders also noted the importance of joint work within BRICS in order to further promote the role of this association in global politics and economics.

It was agreed to maintain contact.

👩 🚀 On June 16, 1963, Valentina Tereshkova performed her historic mission aboard Vostok-6, became the first woman in space. And to this day she remains the only female to have ever ventured to orbit solo.
🔹 Launched from Baikonur Vostok-6 orbited the Earth 48 times and successfully landed in the Altai Territory. The flight took 2 days, 22 hours and 50 minutes. During the flight, Valentina Tereshkova took a series of pictures of the horizon, which was later used to detect aerosol levels in the atmosphere.
🔹 Tereshkova’s space flight became a global sensation. Three days after the flight, she was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Later on, she received the titles of Hero of Socialist Labour of Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Vietnam and Mongolia, and also became honorary citizen of 18 Russian and foreign cities.
