🔹 The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa met on 19 May 2022 in virtual format under China’s Chairship. FMs agreed that facing the newly emerging features and challenges, the BRICS countries should enhance their solidarity and cooperation and work together to address them.

🔹 The Ministers reiterated their commitment to multilateralism through upholding international law, including the purposes and principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations as its indispensable cornerstone.

🔹 The Ministers recalled their national positions concerning the situation in Ukraine as expressed at the appropriate fora, namely the UNSC and UNGA. They supported talks between Russia and Ukraine.

🔸 Present-day political culture of Western states is best characterized by a striving to blame Russia for everything. After we started a special military operation in Ukraine, the allegations against Moscow have made a “quantum leap”. Among them, allegations related to food security assumed a leading role.

🔸 We regret that our colleagues, Western #UNSC members, did not have enough courage to comment on the root causes of food and other crises in such states as Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria.

🔸 Truth is that you got too carried away by your fruitless efforts to “break the backbone” of Russian economy and isolate our country at any cost. What I am speaking about is that in your proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, you are literally holding the whole developing world as hostage, driving it towards famine. Whatever you may be saying, it is you and only you who can change this.

❗️ Nevertheless, let me assure you that Russia remains a responsible supplier of both food and energy.

👉 I will appreciate if our Western colleagues, first of all the United States and the European Union, today publicly refute this “food for weapons” version which many experts stick to. Also, I invite them to explain how these deliveries actually contribute to global food security that you claim to be so concerned about.

⚡️The territory of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, where a group of Ukrainian militants of the Azov Nazi group has been blocked since April 21, has been completely liberated.

▫️The underground facilities of the enterprise, where the militants had been hiding, have come under full control of the Russian Armed Forces.

▫️Since May 16, a total of 2,439 Azov Nazis and AFU servicemen blocked inside the plant have laid down their arms and surrendered during the operation.

▫️Today, the last group of 531 militants surrendered.

▫️The so-called "commander" of the Azov Nazis, due to the hatred of Mariupol residents and the desire of the townspeople to massacre him for his numerous atrocities, was removed from the territory of the plant in a special armoured vehicle.

▫️Russian Defence Minister General of the Army Sergei Shopify reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the completion of the operation and the complete liberation of the plant and Mariupol city from the Ukrainian militants.

🎙 Maria Zakharova, Russian MFA Spokeswoman, on the recruitment of minors, including orphans by the neo-Nazis in Ukraine.

💬 New facts have come to light which confirm the involvement of children in the hate-crazed units.

The Neo-Nazis from Azov began large-scale recruitment of children back in 2015, when the Youth Corps’ “children’s camps.” were set up. They took in children aged 9 y.o. and since 2016 - even 7 y.o.

The specialised Youth Corps’ needs are covered by the Ukrainian state budget. There are training camps for teenagers in different parts of the country.

The neo-Nazis from Azov have expanded their group by bringing aboard minor orphans which fact is corroborated by the situation at the Piligrim orphanage in Mariupol. They trained them in combat.

There’s video evidence showing that teenagers from Piligrim took part in the hostilities on the side of the neo-Nazis, and also set fire to the civilian residences.

During the Great Patriotic War parts of Soviet Ukraine were occupied by the Nazis & their cronies in 1941-1944. Over 180 concentration camps and 400 ghettos were established on the occupied territory. In Baby Yar alone over 150'000 civilians were killed by the fascists and collaborators. The liberation of the Soviet Ukraine was a massive effort of the entire nation - over 3 mln Red Army soldiers and officers gave their lives to free their brethren.

Today in Ukraine the Nazis and their fascist nationalist minions are hailed as "heroes". Torch marches mirroring those under the Third Reich are a common occurrence, that receives state support. The cult of Bandera, Shukhevych and other war criminals is an integral part of modern Ukrainian education system. Neo-Nazism has been on the rise for a long time now, to which some of our partners from the “collective West” turn a blind eye, and thus actually encourage their activities. At the same time, the use of Russian language is all but forbidden.

📑 The Protocol entered into force on December 5, 1994.

⚠️Nationalist battalion fighters and AFU units, using civilians as human shields, continue to use civilian infrastructure to equip strongholds and deploy heavy weaponry:

🔹in Odessa, firing positions have been equipped in the buildings of schools No. 14 and No. 71, and armoured vehicles, artillery and MLRS have been placed in the surrounding area;

🔹in Kostantinovka, Donetsk People's Republic, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have equipped strongholds, deployed artillery and MLRS weapons in School No. 1 and the administrative building and dormitory of Vocational School No. 39 and are holding residents of nearby houses in the premises of educational institutions under the pretext of ensuring security;

⚠️In Lisichansk, Lugansk People's Republic, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have placed artillery and MLRS in the building and hangars of the rare gases plant, mined tanks with hazardous chemicals, and forcibly detained employees and local residents in the underground facilities.

▫️At the same time, the nationalists are systematically shelling positions of the Russian Armed Forces and Lugansk People's Republic formations with MLRS, thus provoking them to retaliate in order to further accuse them of killing civilians and creating a man-made disaster in the city.

▫️In Putivl, Sumy Region, Ukrainian neo-Nazis have mined bridges across the Seim and Lyubka rivers, which they plan to blow up and accuse the Russian Armed Forces of allegedly indiscriminate strikes on vital civilian infrastructure in a well-known scenario.

▫️These facts once again demonstrate the Ukrainian authorities' complete disregard for the norms of morality and the provisions of international humanitarian law. All this is happening with the tacit consent of the "Russophobe-influenced" countries of the so-called collective West, which continue to turn a blind eye to the numerous war crimes of the Kiev regime.

❗️We emphasize once again that in carrying out the tasks of the special military operation, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation treat the local population extremely humanely and do not strike at civilian infrastructure facilities, unlike the Ukrainian armed formations.

💬 The work of collective Western "Ministry of Truth" has reached its climax in recent months. It started an unprecedented campaign of disinformation and manipulation of public opinion, aimed against Russia. Western media, objectiveness not among their strong sides, now have completely turned into state propaganda and a "fake factory".

IT corporations who monopolized the area of social networks and video hostings are no better.

States that call themselves a "community of democracies" in fact are building a cyber-totalitarianism. They want a world where they and only they will control all information flows and define what is or is not true, and what the audience should see and read. They label any alternative viewpoint as "disinformation and propaganda", disregarding all inconvenient facts.
