⚡️According to reliable information, the Ukrainian Security Service is planning provocations using chemical weapons in the settlements of Vysokopolie, Ivanovka, Knyazevka and Topolnoe in Kherson region, as well as in Apostolovo in Dnepropetrovsk region by 24:00 on May 6, 2022 to further accuse the Russian Armed Forces.

▫️Moreover, while previously in preparation for such provocations the civilian population was withdrawn from the area of planned contamination, now, in order to maximise the resonance, no warning was given to the population.

❗️We warn the "civilized West" as well as the United Nations, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons in advance that the above and other similar provocations about alleged "Russian atrocities" are soon to be widely spread by the Ukrainian authorities through the Western media and in various Internet resources.

⚡️It has been reliably established that Ukrainian army units and nationalist battalions are setting up powerful fortifications in large enterprises, including the chemical industry, at the orders of their US and UK handlers.

▫️For example, the militants have placed heavy weapons on the territory of the Azot company in Severodonetsk, Lugansk People's Republic, and are holding more than a 1,000 factory workers and local residents in underground facilities as "human shield".

▫️At the same time, the nationalists have been systematically firing MLRSs in Pervomaisk, Stakhanov and Kalinovo, thus provoking the Russian Armed Forces to retaliate in order to further accuse the Russian military of killing civilians and causing a man-made disaster in the republic.

⚠️The neo-Nazis also booby-trapped tanks containing chemicals (ammonia, ammonium nitrate, nitric acid) for immediate detonation in case they were forced to abandon their positions.

⚠️The implementation of this cynical crime will lead to the chemical contamination of air, terrain and water sources. At the same time, there is a particular danger of highly toxic substances entering the Seversky Donets River, which is the main waterway and source of drinking water for eastern Ukraine and the Donbass republics.

❗️The commission of similar inhuman provocations by militants of nationalist battalions, according to testimonies of captured AFU soldiers, is also planned at other facilities within the boundaries of the so-called "triangle of chemical industry" (Severodonetsk, Lisichansk and Rubezhnoe; total area - 338 sq km, population - about 300,000 people), where more than 30 chemical companies are concentrated, the largest being Ukrkhimenergo, Severodonetsk-based ORGHIM, Energohimmash, Zarya, LLC, Severodonetsk Chemical and Metallurgical Plant, Severodonetsk Novofert Liquid Chemical Fertiliser Plant, Yuzhny Chemical Plant, and Benzol Chemical Company.

⚡️Today in Kharkiv Region, nationalists in Tsirkuny gathered local residents under the threat of physical violence and transported them to the southern outskirts of Borshchevaya, where the militants, shielding themselves with "human shield", were moving towards the frontline towards the Russian military units, provoking them to open fire on civilians.

▫️As a result of the spot fire, the Ukrainian nationalists were defeated: some of the personnel were eliminated and the rest scattered. However, no civilians were harmed.

❗️Such actions by militants completely replicate Nazi tactics during the Great Patriotic War and once again demonstrate the inhumane attitude of the Kiev regime towards its own people and its complete disregard for all norms of morality and international humanitarian law.

📆 May 7, 1944, marks the end of the assault of Mount Sapun, one of the most dramatic episodes in the Crimean Offensive. During the assault, Lieutenant Mikhail #Dzigunsky sacrificed his life by blocking a Nazi machine gun pillbox with his body to save the rest of his platoon. Dzigunsky’s feat is captured in the “Assault of Mount Sapun” diorama in Sevastopol.

According to Mikhail Dzigunsky’s award list, “…the hero crawled to the enemy’s lair and bravely attacked the machinegun post, covering the pillbox’s firing point with his body. The machinegun stalled. In an instant, our infantry, inspired by Dzigunsky’s feat, rushed forward and broke through the Nazi resistance. The height was taken.”

🎖For his outstanding feat, the 22-year-old brave commander was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.

Сердечно поздравляю вас со священным для всех нас праздником – с Днем Великой Победы!

Мы всегда будем помнить цену победы. Война унесла 27 миллионов жизней граждан нашей Родины: офицеров и солдат, стариков, женщин и детей. Годовщина разгрома нацистской Германии – напоминание о том, что и сегодня долг России как продолжателя Советского Союза – стоять на страже мира, не допуская подъема неонацизма и пересмотра итогов Второй мировой войны.

Мы бережно храним память о героизме, мужестве и стойкости защитников Брестской крепости, героев Москвы, Сталинграда, Курской дуги, Ленинграда, Кавказа, Киева и Одессы. Помним о воинах Красной Армии, освободивших нашу страну и Европу и спасших от истребления миллионы людей самых разных национальностей. О тех, кто подарил всем нам мирное
и безопасное будущее.

Вспоминаем тружеников тыла, самоотверженно отдававших себя делу снабжения фронта. Выражаем признание женам и матерям, ковавшим Победу наравне с мужьями и отцами. А также детям, пережившим голод, эвакуацию, работавшим на заводах вместо взрослых, ушедших на войну.

Уроки прошлого не должны быть забыты. Когда в Берлине в мае 1945 г. Красная Армия покончила с чумой нацизма, рядом с нами стояли союзники по антигитлеровской коалиции.

Сегодня мы воздаем должное и их вкладу здесь, в Канаде. Ее сыновья
и дочери также сражались за освобождение народов Европы, участвовали в знаменитых северных конвоях и разделили с нами радость победы.

Dear veterans, compatriots, descendants of generation of victors!

Let me cordially congratulate you on a holiday that is sacred for all of us – the Great Victory Day.

We will always remember the cost of this Victory. The war claimed 27 million lives of our Motherland’s citizens: officers and soldiers, elderly, women and children. The anniversary of the defeat of the Nazi Germany is a reminder that it is still Russia’s duty, as a successor of the Soviet Union, to safeguard peace, preventing both the rise of neo-Nazism and a revision of the outcomes of the World War II.

We cherish the memory of the heroism, courage and endurance of the defenders of the Brest Fortress, the heroes of Moscow, Stalingrad, the Kursk Bulge, Leningrad, the Caucasus, Kiev and Odessa. We remember the soldiers of the Red Army, who liberated our country and Europe. Those, who saved millions of people of different nationalities from extermination. Those, who ensured our peaceful and secure future.

We remember the workers on the home front, who demonstrated selfless service in providing support to the front line. We express our words of recognition to the wives and mothers forging the Victory along with their husbands and fathers. And to the children who survived famine and evacuation, worked at factories replacing the adults who went to the frontlines.

The lessons of the past should not be forgotten.

In 1945, when in Berlin the Red Army put an end to the Nazi plague, our anti-Hitler coalition allies were standing by our side. Today we also pay tribute to their contribution here, in Canada. This country’s sons and daughters fought to liberate peoples of Europe, participated in the famous Arctic Convoys and shared with us the joy of the Victory.

Let me wish you all sound health, peace and prosperity.

🗓 9 мая 1945 года в пригороде Берлина Карлсхорсте был подписан Акт о военной капитуляции германских вооружённых сил. Он вступил в силу 9 мая в 01:01 по московскому времени (8 мая в 23:01 по среднеевропейскому).

📃 Подпись от имени СССР поставил заместитель Верховного главнокомандующего маршал Советского Союза Г. К. Жуков. За германское Верховное командование акт подписали начальник штаба вермахта генерал-фельдмаршал В. Кейтель, главнокомандующий ВМС адмирал флота Г.Г.фон Фридебург, генерал-полковник авиации Г. Ю. Штумпф.

📃 Акт был составлен в девяти экземплярах (по три экземпляра на русском, английском и немецком языках). Полный экземпляр (т.е. на трёх языках) Акта, а также подлинный документ с подписью Деница, удостоверяющий полномочия Кейтеля, Фридебурга и Штумпфа, хранится в фонде международных договорных актов Архива внешней политики Российской Федерации.

После подписания акта германское правительство было распущено, а поверженные немецкие войска полностью сложили оружие.

🕯 This year the world celebrates the 77th anniversary of the sacred holiday – Great Victory Day. In the spring of 1945, the multinational people of the USSR together with its anti-Hitler coalition allies liberated the planet from the yoke of Nazi tyranny. Unprecedented heroism of the great victorious generation helped overpower the misanthropic ideology.

⚔️ In the battles of Moscow and on the Kursk Bulge, in besieged Leningrad and on the streets of Stalingrad, representatives of all Soviet nationalities stood shoulder to shoulder to protect the shared Motherland. Their courage and selflessness on the front lines and in the rear, as well as in partisan units allowed first to stop and then to crush Hitler’s army.

🕯Our ancestors not only defended the independence of the Fatherland, but also freed the world from the "brown plague". The Soviet warriors-liberators rescued from captivity hundreds of thousands of prisoners of concentration camps.
The victory was won at a great cost. 27 million of our compatriots died. Almost half of victims were civilians. Hitler’s executioners and their henchmen strove for total annihilation of the peoples of the USSR, sparing neither women, nor children, nor the elderly.

🙏 We recall with appreciation the help of the allies at that fateful time. This year marks the 80th anniversary of the launch of the Alaska-Siberia air route, which was used during the war to deliver about eight thousand planes from the United States to the USSR.

🎖Our sacred duty is to preserve the truth about the Great Patriotic War and pass it on to future generations.
A low bow and deep gratitude to the veterans of the armies of the anti-Hitler coalition, who fought for our freedom in World War II. Your heroic feat will be forever in our hearts.
