So i think there is this physics exam i was about to take back in grade 11 or so. Ena the thing is i studied a lot. Like A LOT. It's was about kinetic energy and stuff mnamn. And then the exam was good. It had bonus questions and all.

And then i was discussing the answers with one of my friend and she told me "oh the answer for the bonus is something this and that" and i was so stubborn to accept that, that we went to staff and check and apparently i have misread the question and did the opposite of what the question asked.

And at that point i don't remember crying but the teacher told me i did. Mind u it was a bonus question and i still got the full marks. And i think the teachers and students get the wrong impression i guess, as someone who chases marks and gave them more meanings than they were. They said they were just numbers, you still got full mark, and some laughed thinking i am spoiled and some brushed it as a side effect of being "top" student. But how could i tell them it was never about the marks ? How can i tell i was proving noone else but little me?It was about all the efforts that were blown for a seconds of distraction. It was a full chance of proving myself blown just because i misread a question

There are ppl who God gave you as an answer of the prayer you don't remember praying. A person who is a blessing
As if God put them in your life so you thank Him everytime you think of them.โค๏ธโœจ

Even though I appreciate how we express our feelings and thoughts in English almost instinctively , there are some things that can only be captured with Amharic, like แˆณแ‹ซแˆฝ แ‹จแ‰ แˆ‹ แ‹แŠ•แŒ€แˆฎ แˆฒแˆตแˆ แ‹ซแ‹ตแˆซแˆ

Isnt it impressive that we consider complex math, algorithms, optimality and other endless factor to make a machine do or learn something humans do almost effortlessly๐Ÿ™Œ Human brain is such a complex thing

Plus as days go on, i understood the importance of all the concepts that i was taught in high school. I used to say "what does second law of thermodynamics has to do with my life?", apparently it has everything to do with my entire life

And that's beautiful in a sense. Everything is connected. If only it wasnt presented as a collection of isolated facts but it would have been great we were taught in a way we can see how there was no actual real distinction between biology, chemistry , physics and math rather they are pieces to understand the working mechanism of everything all around us. โœจ

And i think that is why on ancient times scientists dont have one isolated title like ML engineer or a doctor or something. Look at da Vinci. He was painter, scientist , engineer, mathematician, Astronomist, botanist, writer. the knowledge out there somehow is very very overlapping and related
Well this is me having midday educational crisis and enlightenment ๐Ÿ˜ญ

sometimes we dont live on the standards of what's right and what's wrong, we live in a standards what we are used to long enough. the difference between something feeling wrong and something feeling normal can simply be how long we are exposed to it. and eventually what used to make us uncomfortable doesnt bother us anymore, not because it became right but because we became used to it. It is scary how humans can normalize anything

Jokes aside this is a great lesson though

We never knew what's God's plan is when He put us in some places. May we learn to open our heart to abide His ways and plans
