When we say that people in iran (yes people not the government) are centralists we get labeled with every single word out there but it's so vivid rn that if one bomb hit an empty field near tehran everyone would be going crazy but no one cares about the people in the south

only talking about equality when there's something to exploit or there's a trench which you need a front row for, only talking about being one and being altogether only when you and your privileges and benefits are in danger

if you can shrug off a bombed city because it's not your city, that's not indifference, that's a choice about whose death counts less to you.
it's the same logic that lets people watch wars from a distance and sort victims into "ones that matter" and "background noise."
