How do I get something that's mine back?
A while ago, my parents took away something very valuable to my sister and took away mine too. After this, my sister was very sad, crying to them almost everyday and always asking them to give it back. Well recently, me and my sister went to the mall and bought a new one without my parents knowledge, hiding it from them and only using it late at night. It was more then $600 and took me months to save up for, my sister not contributing any money at all. We both agreed it belonged to me and I allowed her to use it after I went to sleep every night because I felt bad she had hers taken away too. Well recently, my sister has started using it, every day, even during the mornings and afternoons, despite what I told her about only using it at night so our parents don't find out. I try to tell her to stop but every time I do, she takes it and locks herself in the bathroom, and if I scream at her to give it back, my parents will hear and come to check. Most of the time, she ignores me when I talk, and because I cant raise my voice or do anything without my parents finding out, I have to let her continue to use it. I've tried to snatch it out of her hand but when I do, she screams and yells, alarming my parents who rush inside, and last time she did this, it almost got caught. now, only when she's sleeping, can I use what I bought with my own money, and this is only for an hour or two. I don't know how to take it back from her without my parents finding out about it, but the whole situation is unfair and I'm scared she will get caught with it one day. I'm not sure how to stand up for myself and get back what is mine.
