3/ It is especially disheartening to see the University of Minnesota capitulate. This week, out of fear of government retaliation, the university unilaterally removed all statements regarding the ongoing russian invasion of Ukraine from its official websites.
4/ As a protest, Professor Howard Louthan, Director of the Center for Austrian Studies at the University of Minnesota, resigned from his position.

As we are preparing to celebrate Easter, let us remember that one essential aspect of this great holiday is that Easter is a celebration of justice in the universe. Without Christ’s death, God could not have justly forgiven people of their sins. On this day, justice was served — the punishment for the sin was placed upon Christ.
This is good news for the righteous — for those who have suffered from evil, for the ones unjustly killed, raped, tortured, for those weeping at the graves of loved ones, and howling in the night from the agony of pain. God has promised: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” (Revelation 21:4)
But Easter is terrible news for the wicked — for those who have killed, raped, and tortured. They will stand before the judgment seat of God, and they will be judged. Justice will be done. On that day, Jesus said: “Those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.” (John 5:29)
Easter is the guarantee that life will triumph over death, good over evil, and justice will prevail.
Symbolically, on this day, I pray for Ukraine to triumph over russia — putting an end to this evil empire once and for all.

By now, it is clear that the U.S. is preparing abandon Ukraine and stop the peace negotiation process.
First, Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that if there are no clear signs of progress toward a peace agreement, the U.S. will end its mediation efforts between russia and Ukraine and simply “move on.”
Now, Donald Trump has reiterated the same position: “If for some reason one of the two parties makes it very difficult, we’re just gonna say, you’re foolish, you’re fools, you’re horrible people, and we’re just gonna take a pass.”

4/ The proposed deal would freeze the war, leaving russian-occupied territories under Moscow’s control.

UEFA honored the memory of a former russian national team footballer who was killed in the war in Ukraine.
Aleksei Bugaev ended his football career in 2010. In September 2024, he was sentenced to nine years in prison for attempting to sell drugs. However, he was later conscripted and sent to fight in Ukraine.
During the UEFA Congress in Belgrade, FIFA President Gianni Infantino stated that he hopes for russia’s swift return to international football competitions.
He said: “As peace negotiations in Ukraine are ongoing, I hope that soon we will be able to turn the page — to also bring Russia back to the football arena. This would mean that everything has been resolved.”
Yes — “everything has been resolved” and tens of thousands of Ukrainians killed by russians will somehow come back to life. What a morally bankrupt position.
To make matters worse, UEFA recently denied Ukraine’s request to officially commemorate the Ukrainians killed in recent russian attacks during the match between Romania and Ukraine.
