4/ If the U.S. canโt force Ukraine to capitulate, it will just walk away โ and then blame Zelensky for the failure of negotiations.

The U.S. is increasingly resembling a dictatorship, especially with the suppression of academic freedom. History has shown that suppressing academic voices leads to devastating consequences โ intellectual stagnation and darker times for society at large.โฆ
2/ It is deeply troubling that universities are now bending to the will of the government. Just because we have a morally bankrupt administration does not mean we must become like it.

3/ It is especially disheartening to see the University of Minnesota capitulate. This week, out of fear of government retaliation, the university unilaterally removed all statements regarding the ongoing russian invasion of Ukraine from its official websites.

As we are preparing to celebrate Easter, let us remember that one essential aspect of this great holiday is that Easter is a celebration of justice in the universe. Without Christโs death, God could not have justly forgiven people of their sins. On this day, justice was served โ the punishment for the sin was placed upon Christ.
This is good news for the righteous โ for those who have suffered from evil, for the ones unjustly killed, raped, tortured, for those weeping at the graves of loved ones, and howling in the night from the agony of pain. God has promised: โHe will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.โ (Revelation 21:4)
But Easter is terrible news for the wicked โ for those who have killed, raped, and tortured. They will stand before the judgment seat of God, and they will be judged. Justice will be done. On that day, Jesus said: โThose who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.โ (John 5:29)
Easter is the guarantee that life will triumph over death, good over evil, and justice will prevail.
Symbolically, on this day, I pray for Ukraine to triumph over russia โ putting an end to this evil empire once and for all.
