The U.S. is increasingly resembling a dictatorship, especially with the suppression of academic freedom.

History has shown that suppressing academic voices leads to devastating consequences โ€” intellectual stagnation and darker times for society at large.

2/ It is deeply troubling that universities are now bending to the will of the government. Just because we have a morally bankrupt administration does not mean we must become like it.
3/ It is especially disheartening to see the University of Minnesota capitulate. This week, out of fear of government retaliation, the university unilaterally removed all statements regarding the ongoing russian invasion of Ukraine from its official websites.

4/ As a protest, Professor Howard Louthan, Director of the Center for Austrian Studies at the University of Minnesota, resigned from his position.
5/ He wrote: โ€œThe events of the past ten days thus came as a sudden shock when on Tuesday, April 1, you (Dean Avilez) informed us that the university had decided to remove a statement that CAS had made in February 2022 in support of the Ukrainian people.โ€
As we are preparing to celebrate Easter, let us remember that one essential aspect of this great holiday is that Easter is a celebration of justice in the universe. Without Christโ€™s death, God could not have justly forgiven people of their sins. On this day, justice was served โ€” the punishment for the sin was placed upon Christ.

This is good news for the righteous โ€” for those who have suffered from evil, for the ones unjustly killed, raped, tortured, for those weeping at the graves of loved ones, and howling in the night from the agony of pain. God has promised: โ€œHe will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.โ€ (Revelation 21:4)

But Easter is terrible news for the wicked โ€” for those who have killed, raped, and tortured. They will stand before the judgment seat of God, and they will be judged. Justice will be done. On that day, Jesus said: โ€œThose who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned.โ€ (John 5:29)

Easter is the guarantee that life will triumph over death, good over evil, and justice will prevail.

Symbolically, on this day, I pray for Ukraine to triumph over russia โ€” putting an end to this evil empire once and for all.

By now, it is clear that the U.S. is preparing abandon Ukraine and stop the peace negotiation process.

First, Secretary of State Marco Rubio warned that if there are no clear signs of progress toward a peace agreement, the U.S. will end its mediation efforts between russia and Ukraine and simply โ€œmove on.โ€

Now, Donald Trump has reiterated the same position: โ€œIf for some reason one of the two parties makes it very difficult, weโ€™re just gonna say, youโ€™re foolish, youโ€™re fools, youโ€™re horrible people, and weโ€™re just gonna take a pass.โ€

Next week will be critical for Ukraine.

Negotiations for a full and comprehensive ceasefire are set to take place in London. According to the New York Post, Trump is prepared to walk away if Moscow does not agree to the terms.

2/ Ukraineโ€™s Defense Minister, Rustem Umerov, reportedly told U.S. officials that Kyiv โ€œ90% supportsโ€ Trumpโ€™s peace plan, which was presented earlier this week in Paris by the Secretary of State and two special envoys.
5/ As reported by The New York Times, the Trump administration is not considering any further weapons packages for Ukraine. The U.S. is also reportedly open to recognizing Crimea as russian as part of a potential peace agreement.
This is how Putinโ€™s โ€œEaster ceasefireโ€ looks like right now in Kherson.

Anyone who believes russia has any intentions to stop the war is simply delusional.
