RESEARCH RESULT. THEORETICAL AND APPLIED LINGUISTICS
⚡️Dear colleagues and friends! Except for one, the articles from Volume 9 (4) are in Scopus. Unfortunately, there are some database errors which have to be corrected by addressing Scopus Support. We will start doing it straight away.
☝️UPD: All the articles are in Scopus, but four articles need improvement. The required info was forwarded to Scopus support. It takes up to 4 weeks for the data to be corrected. The authors can also address the Scopus support center individually https://service.elsevier.com/app/overview/scopus/.
In this case it could take less time for errors to be corrected.
ℹ️ An interesting research was conducted by an international collaborative team among which are our former and acting university colleagues.

Gao, Z., Moskovkin, V.M., Gakhova, N.N. et al. Comparative analysis of downloads of articles by Chinese and Russian researchers using Sci-Hub. Educ Inf Technol (2024). https://doi.org/10.1007/s10639-024-12507-3

The comparative analysis of qualitative and quantitative parameters of downloads by Chinese and Russian researchers were analyzed.
Methods for implementing publishing and library measures to neutralize the activities of scientific piracy are proposed to couneract Sci-Hub activity.
The Chinese download more articles than the Russians (See the article)
The Question: Did the authors of the article take into account the number of scientists in those 3 big cities to normalize the results?

📍A review from Science Editing journal:

Influence of artificial intelligence and chatbots on research integrity and publication ethics

The incorporation of AI and chatbots into the research environment is set to transform the way we approach scholarly inquiries. However, the study emphasizes the importance of employing these tools ethically within research and academia. As we move forward, it is of the utmost importance to concentrate on creating robust, flexible strategies and establishing comprehensive regulations that effectively align these potential technological developments with stringent ethical standards.
