The scepters are the hekat, represented by a hook symbolizing the action, the seed, the ferment; and the nekhakha, which Egyptologists translate as "whip" or "flagellum," represented by a staff from which issues a triple flow: the effect of the resistance immanent in action, substance in its triple nature. Physically expressed, it is energy acting on substance in order to fix it, or that which acts and that which undergoes action. The hekat is held in the left hand, the receiving side, the north, the above; the nekhkha is held in the right hand, the returning, giving, and doing side, the south, the below. The living king is the active and reactive (mystical) power that creates Nature. The king will be dead when this power has produced body, quantity, determined form; this is the first crossing. But when the complementation of this appearance is realized in its turn---the second crossing of the scepters---then the appearance ceases and the creative power is liberated again after having known form; each scepter is back in its place, the hekat on the left, the nekhakha on the right.
In their aspect, the principle and the mode of pharonic thought can be defined as follows:
The origin of all things being an active impulse, it is activity, or function, that characterizes all things. Activity, carrying its own resistance in itself, is represented in its triple nature: active-male-positive, passive-female-negative, and reactive-formed-neutral. Appearance is merely a passing signature, a symbol of the activity of incarnated function.
Through the signature the kingships (the analogues) of a characteristic lineage are distinguished, dominated and governed by a neter, a ternary and active (realized) power. The neters are cosmic, and everything that is related by its qualifying function to the lineage of a single neter, directly or collaterally, is cosmically interdependent.
Signatures or symbols chosen judiciously from among living natural products, or from among utilitarian objects that have invariable functions, constitute a set of glyphs that form a writing with an invariable meaning through all time, esoterically self-explanatory in the function. This is not a spoken language.
All the essential functions can be summarized in a certain number of symbols and denoted by a sound whose pronunciation affects the various physiological centers, a fact that enables the alphabet of a sacred (mantric) language to be established. Certain determinatives point out the meaning of the indicated function. This, then, constitutes the writing of a language, made from words that refer to functional meanings. These words represent concepts that can then conform to a rational, syllogistic system.
In the hieratic spirit, we do not look for a concept of the function, but for an identification of the self with the function that the neter represents.
In this mode of thought, rationality has no place. What is called for is not a play of ideas that necessitate objectification, but a state of functional consciousness, superior to psychological consciousness. This state does not allow for the elaboration of a theoretical science, and neither is it any longer an emprirical science, but in answering the question of how it also ads the possibility of answering the why. This mode of thinking is also valid in the applied arts and sciences.

THE INNER REALM OF HAPPINESS
by Ron McVan
At the "Inner Realm of Happiness", where light shines from within, I knocked upon its doors of joy, but it would not let me in. And a ladder I fastened to each wall, with nervous trepidation, and climbed I did, till the ladders slid, back down into desolation!
In the darkness there I pondered, on the life that I had known, each trial and tribulation, each seed that I had sewn. As I gathered up life's wisdom, letting loose my wrath inside, I went back to that realm again, and the doors, they opened wide!

GODS OF THE BLOOD! ))))))))) by Ron McVan
Light a flame beneath the cauldron, cast the runes, let ravens fly, roll the fire wheel down the mountain, a tribute to the earth and sky!
Hail the high ones of mighty Asgard, cross the Bifrost Bridge on high, home of Freyja, Thor and Wotan, where heroes live and never die!
Grant us valiant days of glory, strong by blood and all as one, let valor guide us across each hurdle, till our Midgard days are done!
Build a temple deeply rooted, made of bone and blood and skin, a temple which wonβt be looted, by the world we're living in!
Forge your will to meet each challenge, like our forebears long ago, eye for eye, and love for love, tooth for tooth, and blow for blow!
