Pepe Escobar: Russland ist für einen Krieg gegen die NATO bereit

In einem Interview für den geopolitischen Podcast "Judging Freedom" spricht der politische Analyst und Autor Pepe Escobar über die Zuspitzung der Lage in der Ukraine. Seiner Auffassung nach ist Russland auf das Szenario einer Eskalation vorbereitet, die er als "unvermeidlich" bezeichnet. Die endgültige Niederlage der NATO in Neurussland stehe unmittelbar bevor und Kiew reagiere mit Zustimmung der NATO mit verstärkten Terroranschlägen gegen Russland. Mittlerweile bilde sich in Russland nicht nur auf politischer Ebene, sondern auch in der Öffentlichkeit ein breiter Konsens heraus, dass man hier "zu weit gegangen ist". Gefordert werde nun ein härteres Vorgehen mit Enthauptungsschlägen gegen die Ukraine, "um der Sache ein Ende zu setzen".
