“The Plan”, è ovvio. Fine dei giochi: costruire un'isola artificiale nelle acque territoriali di Gaza come piattaforma per fornire gas naturale all'UE, cioè gas RUBATO a Gaza. Bruxelles lo adora.

Anglo-American spies trying to destabilize Central Asia – Moscow
US and UK intelligence services are attempting to leverage their long-standing ties with various terrorist groups to sow chaos in Central Asia, the head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergey Naryshkin, has said.
Speaking to reporters on Friday, Naryshkin said the West, led by the US, was seeking to maintain its grip on global hegemony. To achieve this goal, Western countries are trying to contain the development of other nations by fomenting strife and exploiting international and sectarian tensions, he claimed.
Naryshkin noted that, despite Washington’s “humiliating” withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021, British and American intelligence services still cooperate with underground terrorist cells “to destabilize the situation not only in [this country], but also in Central Asia and Eurasia as a whole.”

EUROPE OR AN IMPOSTOR?
by Giorgio Agamben
May 20, 2024 (English translation)
"It is likely that very few of those about to vote in the European elections have questioned the political significance of their act. Since they are called upon to elect an undefined "European parliament," they may believe more or less that they are doing something that corresponds to the election of the parliaments of the countries of which they are citizens.
It should be made clear right away that this is absolutely not the case.
When we talk about Europe today, the great absentee is first and foremost the political and legal reality of the European Union itself. That this is indeed an absentee is demonstrated by the fact that an embarrassing and obvious truth is being hidden. I am referring to the fact that from the point of view of constitutional law, Europe does not exist: what we call the "European Union" is technically a pact between states, which pertains exclusively to international law. The Maastricht Treaty, which came into force in 1993 and gave the European Union its current form, is the ultimate affirmation of European identity as a mere intergovernmental agreement between states. Realizing that talk of a democracy with respect to Europe was therefore meaningless, EU officials sought to make up for this democratic deficit by drafting a so-called European constitution.
Significantly, the text that goes by this name, drafted by committees of bureaucrats with no popular mandate and approved by an intergovernmental conference in 2004, when it was put to a popular vote, as in France and the Netherlands in 2005, was resoundingly rejected.
Faced with the failure of popular approval, which effectively rendered the self-styled constitution null and void, the draft was tacitly - and perhaps one should say shamefully - abandoned and replaced by a new international treaty, the so-called Lisbon Treaty of 2007. It goes without saying that, from a legal point of view, this document is not a constitution, but is once again an agreement between governments, the sole substance of which concerns international law and was therefore never subjected to popular approval. It is not surprising, therefore, that the so-called European parliament that is to be elected is not a parliament, because it lacks the power to propose laws, which is entirely in the hands of the European Commission.
A few years earlier, the problem of the European constitution had, moreover, given rise to a debate between a German jurist whose competence no one could question, Dieter Grimm, and Jürgen Habermas, who, like most of those who call themselves philosophers, was entirely lacking any law education. Against Habermas, who thought he could ultimately base the constitution on public opinion, Dieter Grimm acted in arguing the impracticality of a constitution for the simple reason that a European people did not exist and therefore something like a constituent power lacked any possible foundation. While it is true that constituted power presupposes a constituent power, the idea of a European constituent power is entirely absent from the discourses on Europe.
From the perspective of its purported constitution, the European Union therefore has no legitimacy. It is then perfectly understandable that a political entity without a legitimate constitution cannot have a policy of its own. The only semblance of unity is achieved when Europe acts as a vassal of the United States, participating in wars that in no way correspond to common interests and even less to the will of the people. The European Union today acts as a branch of NATO (which is itself a military agreement between states). (1/2)

Serbian President Vučić: I am afraid that there is little time left for the war in Ukraine to end. I hope it's possible, but I'm afraid it's not. And I’m afraid that the train has already left the station, started moving, and no one will stop it.
In my estimation, things will be much more complicated, much worse, and that it may happen that we will face an even greater tragedy than during the Second World War. I'd like to be wrong. Don't forget one special thing, when the war machine starts to heat up, then the military lobby and the military industry lobby will appear and want it to intensify, and then there will be no more effort, it is difficult to stop. So I think it's time that someone tried something real to stop this and not just throw the blame on the other side. If this doesn't happen, I'm afraid we're headed for disaster.

Last Dance at the Vampire Ball: West Searches for Answers to Its Demise

An absolute joy to read.
I learned all that on the spot, living in London on and off since the late 70s.
Yes, it's all irrational.
But we're not yet at the last dance.

Last Dance at the Vampire Ball: West Searches for Answers to Its Demise
As the reality of the coming Russian victory over the combined NATO Leviathan has slowly dawned on the West, it has engendered a poignant shift in the increasingly high-pitched narrative.
