Here I am with my wonderful husband Charles Byerly just following the two doctorate graduation ceremonies. Seeing these pictures brings tears to my eyes because of the Gratitude I feel for God's blessing here and for the wonderful Association with SOGC College and Seminary. I thank God as well for the new friendships with all of my fellow graduates of both colleges as well as for Author Brenda Hawkins Bailey and our Chancellor Winford Thompson, given their hard work and Devotion to lift other people up. One of the most significant parts of the ceremony was when Ambassador Thompson reminded us that in scripture we read that it is God that gives us a New Name, and with that comes the commission to continue to serve in His Name. I'm honored to receive the New Name of Doctor as it has been seen fit by this esteemed Institute of Spiritual Learning and Development, and especially as the Lord has given through them; and I will pray every day for the strength and wisdom to keep serving as the Holy Spirit leads.
