Devices Tycoon continues to move toward deeper realism. Today I want to introduce a completely reworked CPU & GPU editor for your devices — one of the most complex and detailed systems in the game so far. ⚙️

As you may remember, Devices Tycoon includes a Real History Mode. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been researching, verifying, and adding real CPUs and GPUs with accurate specifications from 2006 to 2025. Integrating real-world processors requires extreme attention to detail, which is why news updates were delayed — but the result is a much more flexible and authentic hardware editor. 🔬

The total number of real processors added just for smartphones, tablets, and laptops has exceeded 3,000 models! This foundation allows you to fine-tune your devices like never before. 📊

In the CPU & GPU editor, you’ll now start by choosing the type of processor you want to use: Manufacturer CPU, Custom Manufacturer CPU, or Your Own CPU. 🧩

For example, if you want to improve the performance of a manufacturer’s CPU, you’ll need to request a custom processor. The most budget-friendly option is using your own processors. 💡

The GPU editor has also received major improvements. As you know, most processors include an integrated GPU — and now you can fully control how it’s used. 🎮

You can either keep the manufacturer’s integrated GPU or customize it further. For mobile devices, you can choose Manufacturer iGPU or Custom iGPU. For laptops, you’ll have even more flexibility: Manufacturer iGPU, Custom iGPU, Manufacturer dGPU (discrete graphics card), Custom dGPU, or your own dGPU created in a separate editor. 🖌

I’ll talk more about the custom CPU and dGPU editor in future updates. Keep in mind: any custom hardware changes increase production costs, which directly affects both device price and profit margins. 💰

I’ve also updated the internal layout design of laptops. You can now visually see the components you’re using or modifying, making hardware decisions clearer and more immersive. 👀

A major financial system is coming to Devices Tycoon (PC), adding a deep and meaningful strategic layer to your company’s growth. Investments are no longer just extra income — they become a key tool for expanding your business. You’ll be able to trade shares of other companies in a dynamic market. Buy and sell shares to profit from price changes, or gradually build ownership up to 49% to prepare for a full acquisition. 📊

Once you own 49% of a company, you can enter negotiations to acquire it fully. Full acquisitions are expensive, as you don’t just buy shares — you gain the company’s infrastructure, management, and market presence. Negotiations are risky: popular companies demand higher prices, failed talks lock negotiations for a while, and waiting for the right moment can change everything. 🤝

Acquired companies generate monthly dividends, and you’ll choose how they develop. Growth strategies push company value higher, income strategies focus on stable dividends, while balanced strategies offer lower risk and steady progress.💰

This system adds a deep financial layer where analysis, patience, and long-term planning define success. Smart investments can completely reshape the balance of power on the market. 🚀

Devices Tycoon (PC) — Perks, Character & Company Development 🧠 ✔️

I’ve added a brand-new system to the game — Perks. This is a deep and meaningful mechanic that directly affects how you play! 🧩

Perks shape your character, define your strengths, and push your business in a specific direction. You’ll gain powerful bonuses, but every advantage comes with tough and irreversible choices. 🎯

Before starting a new game, you’ll build your character by answering questions from early childhood to adulthood. These answers define your starting attributes and initial perks, making every playthrough feel different from the very beginning. 👤

The game features separate level groups, each with its own set of perks. Each group progresses independently. To unlock new perks, you must increase the level of the corresponding group. Levels are increased by performing actions related to that area.

For example, to develop Production and Technology, you will need to conduct research, invest in research, sign contracts with factories, and improve production processes. 📊

Upon reaching certain levels, you are presented with a choice between two perks. The selected perk becomes permanent and cannot be changed or reset. ⚖️

The system includes 80 unique perks. Many of them are intentionally situational and encourage different development paths, making each playthrough distinct in terms of strengths, weaknesses, and overall company strategy. 🏗
