Devices Tycoon – Update 3.3🛍🛍

The laptop editor has become even more interesting! In this update, we have expanded the laptop editor with a new feature - selecting a computer mouse for laptops.

We have also significantly fixed many bugs in the game. Visual and mechanical bugs have been fixed. Most of the features have been redesigned to improve the game's performance. Grammatical errors in the texts were also corrected. Fixed a bug with the game crashing under heavy load, a bug with bankruptcy during the game and some other critical bugs.

However, these were productive months of work. We have completed the largest and most complex part of the code for Devices Tycoon (PC)🪙, but there is still a lot of work ahead, due to the fact that the game for the PC version is being developed completely from scratch and with completely new graphics design.🧑‍💻

This also means that updates for Devices Tycoon (mobile version 🛍🛍) will be published much more frequently. We have prepared an interim update that includes some new features.

What's new in update 3.4.0:
- Ability to select wallpapers for smartphones (the number of wallpapers will increase in the future);
- 68 new cameras for smartphones and tablets;
- 50 new straps for smart watches;
- 13 new remote controls for TV;
- 13 new styluses for smartphones, tablets and laptops;
- New processor frequency;
- New number of cores in the processor;
- New processor cache-memory;
- New GPU frequency;
- New amount of RAM;
- New amount of built-in memory;
- New maximum memory size for Micro SD;
- New battery capacity;
- New types of network;
- New versions of Bluetooth;
- New security systems for smart watches;
- New operating temperature limits for smartwatches;
- New memory capacity for video cards;
- New amounts of RAM memory for additional slots in the laptop editor;
- New functions have been completely redesigned (some functions were completely created from scratch);
- Corrections of critical and minor bugs;
- Spelling and visual bugs corrected.

The code was also optimized and a system was prepared that simplifies the implementation of future updates. A lot of new and interesting things await you ahead. 😉

Console Tycoon is an exciting simulator where you can build your own gaming console empire!

• Editors: Develop and release home consoles, handheld devices, game controllers, and VR headsets by designing everything from appearance to technical specifications in a unique editor with over 10,000 features! ➕

• Historical Mode: Your journey begins in 1980 when the video game industry is just starting to gain momentum. As time progresses in the game, new features will become available, such as Wi-Fi modules or Full HD display support, which will be unlocked when these technologies were introduced to the real-life console market. ⌛️

• Offices: A variety of offices will be available to you. This time, we’ve implemented a system to expand offices. Not only can you upgrade your office, but you can also enlarge it! The offices will vary by era, too. For example, offices from the 1980s, 2000s, or 2010s will have distinct designs. 🏢

• Employees: We have also completely changed the system of hiring employees. Now you have to find employees yourself. The more money you spend on searching, the better employees you will find. We have also added a function for improving employees. For example, you can improve their "research speed" skill. This means that the employee will bring more research points.👨🏼‍🔧

• Reviews: After releasing your consoles, you’ll receive feedback from buyers. We have designed AI in such a way that it will recognize the modern technologies available in the current game period (for example, 1990) and provide realistic, detailed reviews. ⭐️

• Console Sales: We’ve completely changed our approach to the sales system. In this game, you’ll need to closely monitor your budget and expenses. If your console receives a high rating, its popularity will decrease slowly, allowing your console sales to last for years! We’ve added the "Automatic Device Copy Creation" feature, which allows you to sell your consoles for several years or even decades! 🛍

• Contracts: You will have the opportunity to sign contracts with 1,000+ legendary games released from the 1980s onward. You can rewrite history by signing an exclusive contract with GTA: Vice City, for example. Signing a contract will give your console a boost and increase its popularity, depending on the game you secure. To sign a game contract, you'll need to negotiate with the game developers! Do you think you can strike a deal for GTA VI? 📝

• Marketing: We’ve completely revamped the marketing system. Now it has a significant impact on your sales. Marketing will help maintain your console’s popularity, which means you’ll sell more units and make more money. 📈

Console Tycoon — Historical Mode⌛

Today we want to tell you more about the historical mode in Console Tycoon. Historical mode is the appearance of absolutely all functions in the game at the very moment in time when they were implemented in real life. For example, the Full HD display resolution became widely popular in 2007, which means that only in 2007 you will be able to get this function in your own editor.

Historical mode will also affect the release of games with which you can sign exclusive contracts. For example, the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was published on October 26, 2004. Exactly on this day in the game you will receive a notification that the game appeared in the release.

In historical mode, you will also be able to observe graphical changes in the game. For example, your offices, which are made in the style of different periods of time. You will also receive notifications about various world events that will directly affect your decisions and gameplay.🎮

We have created a huge database that includes thousands of features, thousands of events and thousands of games that have happened in the world and will directly affect your gameplay. Thanks to this mode, you will be able to truly fly through time, starting from 1980.

The game is scheduled to be released this year, presumably in late autumn.🍂 However, we cannot give an exact release date, as we want to bring the game to perfection.👨‍💻

Console Tycoon — Signing Game Contracts ✏️

In Console Tycoon, you will have the opportunity to sign contracts with game studios! This is a very important part of the game, which will directly affect your gameplay. You will be able to change the entire history of game development and the universe of game dev!🎮

In the previous news series, we talked about the fact that the game will have a historical mode. The historical mode will also affect games that were published since 1980. How will this be implemented?🧐

When the game developers announce that they are developing a game or publish their first teaser/trailer for the game, you will have the opportunity to start negotiations with the developers to sign an exclusive contract. Signing an exclusive contract gives huge advantages, especially if the game is popular. Signing a contract with a game will allow your console to gain additional popularity and increase console sales, even if sales of your console have already been completed.✏️

But it's not that simple. To sign a contract, you need to offer a certain amount of money and the term of the contract. The exclusivity of the game and your console depends on this. For example, to sign a contract with a very popular game like GTA: VI, you will need a huge amount of money. But if you manage to sign a contract, your consoles will sell out like never before.💰

But, it's not as easy as it seems. In order to sign a contract with a game studio, you have to do a lot of work. No game studio will want to sign a contract if your company is a no-name. Every game that will be published in the future will have system requirements. If you do not have a console that does not meet modern standards, then you will not be able to sign a contract.✍️

We have done a tremendous job on the historical mode and added a huge game database, which includes many games and their detailed characteristics that existed at that time. All games will appear strictly at the time when they were actually published. That is, if GTA: Vice City was published on October 29, 2002 in real life, then you should expect the release of the game at this time.⌛

Console Tycoon — Creating Home Consoles 🎮 🎮

In Console Tycoon you have to build an empire of gaming consoles. Making home gaming consoles is the key task. Of course, you can promote your business without making gaming consoles, however, we all know that stationary/home consoles are incredibly popular. 🎮

We have developed a unique game editor that will allow you to create any gaming console of your dreams! In the game, you will be given the opportunity to show your maximum potential as a designer, engineer or businessman. In the console editor, you can customize any design to your taste and choose the system characteristics that you want.🖌

Earlier, we posted that the game will implement a historical mode. This means that the functions that you can add to your console will correspond to modern standards of the time in the game. For example, you can choose the RAM for the console of the exact time in which it appeared.⌛️

But not everything is as simple as it seems. In the past, console creators relied on the consumer market. That is, if the creators of consoles had the opportunity to add more RAM, but it cost much more money for the price of the console - they abandoned this idea and waited for the right moment. In Console Tycoon it will be exactly the same, you will have to study the market before adding innovations to your console. For example, the game will tell you that the cost of the console is too high compared to the average price on the market.💰

We have worked in detail on the game console editor and you will have a difficult task - to create a balance between the design, quality, system characteristics and pricing policy of your console.🛠

You will also find a detailed rating system for game consoles and the companies that release them. Depending on the time in the game, you will find a historical rating distribution system. You will have to try to get ahead of the companies that existed in the past or exist now. 📊
