🇷🇴 Sâmbătă, 28 februarie, Înaltpreasfințitul părinte Atanasie va participa alături de ierarhii ortodocși ai Marii Britanii și Irlandei la Vecernia Pan-Ortodoxă pentru Duminica Ortodoxiei, un moment de rugăciune și comuniune care aduce împreună cler și credincioși din diferite comunități ortodoxe, într-un duh de unitate și comuniune.

Slujba va avea loc la ora 18:00, la Catedrala Înțelepciunii Dumnezeiești (Hagia Sophia) din Londra.

🇬🇧 On Saturday, 28 February, His Eminence Archbishop Atanasie will take part, together with the Orthodox Hierarchs of Great Britain and Ireland, in the Pan-Orthodox Vespers for the Sunday of Orthodoxy, a moment of prayer and fellowship bringing together clergy and faithful from different Orthodox communities in a spirit of unity and communion.

The service will take place at 18:00 at the Cathedral of the Divine Wisdom (Hagia Sophia) in London.

Postul ni se deschide, prin urmare, cu un prim popas al biruinței în credință și se termină cu un ultim popas care este o biruință a vieții.

🇬🇧 Before the Resurrection of the Lord, there takes place first the resurrection of the human person. The Pascha of man, which leads towards the Pascha of the Lord, reveals itself as a spiritual stopping-place of a new victory — this time, a victory over death. Thus, the Fast opens with an initial stop of triumph in faith and reaches its fulfilment in a final point that proclaims the victory of life.
