🇷🇺🏴⚡️- ISIS has not claimed responsibility for the attack. Russian sources are calling the alleged claim a deepfake, instead stating that Chechen, Dagestani, or Ingush terrorists, possibly supported by Ukraine, are involved.

🇷🇺 - Let's rewind to March 3rd.

Russian security forces clashed with Islamist separatists in Ingushetia during a military operation to quell a terrorist cell. While they may have had affiliation with ISIS, they are far more connected directly to the West and especially to Ukraine. Some Russian sources alleged that the terrorists in Ingushetia were being directly supported by Ukraine, with Ukrainians allegedly giving direct advice to the separatists.

If ISIS is involved in this, the extent of their involvement is superficial. The men who attacked the Crocus City Hall were very well-trained and very professional- they fired their weapons in bursts, they had an infil, exfil, and contingency plans, they were well armed, and well-studied on the layout of the building. This attack resembles the apartment bombings of the 90s or the school seizures that Chechen terrorists undertook rather than the ragtag, largely asymmetrical and unplanned behavior of ISIS.

In short- Ukrainian involvement cannot be ignored. If the slightest hint of Ukrainian involvement is discovered by Russia, all of Ukraine will burn.

🇷🇺🏴⚡️- This is the image that has been circulating alleging ISIS's claim of responsibility for the attack on the Crocus.

Many have noted that ISIS has abandoned this format many years ago. Additionally, this claim allegedly came from the page for ISIS-K, active in Afghanistan and Iran.

🇺🇸🇷🇺⚡️- The US has, in just the last few hours, issued statements that Ukraine is not involved in the terrorist attack, including expressions of condolences to the Russian people for the attack.

🇷🇺🇵🇱⚡️- PM of Poland, Donald Tusk, has ordered the Polish Secret Service to prepare for extreme "regional consequences" as a result of the terrorist attack in Moscow.

Tusk issued no condemnation of the attack.

🇷🇺⚡️- Russian sources report that the Crocus terrorists have all fled. Russian law enforcement and security agencies are currently involved in an extensive search to find them.

🇷🇺⚡- The US claims it gave Moscow 'fairly specific' intelligence that ISIS wanted to carry out an attack in Russia.

Governors of Belgorod and Bryansk have urged civilians to seek shelter immediately.

🇷🇺⚡- The death toll has now risen to over 80. Many, many more in very serious conditions.

🇷🇺⚡️- So far two of the attackers have the detained while another two fled into the forest in Bryansk oblast. They were attempting to flee into Ukraine.

🇷🇺⚡️- The death toll in the Crocus massacre has risen to 93 according to the Investigative Committee of Russia.

🇷🇺🇺🇦⚡️- Russia says that the attackers had "contacts" in Ukraine, and the suspects apparently had plans to flee to Ukraine after the attack.
