🇺🇸⚡️- The ongoing crisis has since been called the "Standoff at Eagle Pass."

🇺🇸 - The last time a standoff between a US state and the federal government happened was over 60 years ago in 1963, when George Wallace and some Alabama police officers stood in the way of black students attempting to register at the University of Alabama.

It's hard to say what a response from the federal government will look like, but when this happened in 1963 the president signed the Insurrection Act and federalized state national guard troops to integrate the University of Alabama.

NATO aircraft are still flying around Kaliningrad at this time.
