🇸🇩🇪🇬⚡- The Rapid Support Forces, RSF, government in Nyala, southwest Sudan, says Egyptian drone strikes on the northern al-Wadi mine killed at least 200+ Sudanese miners, injuring several hundred others.

Note, Cairo has previously targeted mines in Sudan killing civilians, rather than focusing on the RSF's military infrastructure, or the vital al-Kufrah supply route that runs across its very own border.

🇺🇸🇪🇺🇷🇺⚡️- General Alexus G. Grynkewich, EUCOM Commander and NATO Supreme Allied Commander in Europe, is set to issue a statement warning Russia during a security conference in Warsaw today.

🇺🇸🇪🇺🇷🇺⚡️- According to media outlets, General Alexus G. Grynkewich will present his "victory theory" should Russia attack Europe.

🇪🇹 - The situation in the Tigray region has deteriorated rapidly over the weekend, with the Ethiopian National Defence Force, ENDF, advancing across multiple fronts and forcing further Tigray Defence Forces, TDF, withdrawals.

Adigrat direction: ENDF forces have captured Fadi and the border town of Zalambessa, reaching Eritrean territory. Initial reports suggest that TDF units operating in this area had withdrawn towards Eritrean territory.

Adwa direction: ENDF forces continued their push from Hawzen, reaching Nebelet. Unlike the Adigrat axis, TDF units are offering significant resistance along this front. Additionally, ENDF launched a pincer movement south of Adwa along the Mekele-Abiy Addi road, establishing control over the entire area between Werkamba and Idaga Arbi.

Sheraro direction: Following the capture of Shire, ENDF seized the major TDF stronghold of Adi Dairo, as well as the strategic Seyemti Adiyabo junction.

Aksum direction: ENDF forces advanced eastwards from Shire, capturing Wukro. Heavy fighting has since been reported on the town's eastern outskirts as TDF forces mount a determined defense of the holy city of Aksum. The loss of Aksum will be a major symbolic victory for Addis Ababa over the Tigray Defense Forces.

🇫🇷⚡️- Shots fired in a middle school in Aubagne. A school official and a teacher were wounded. A 14 years old has been taken in custody.

🇫🇷⚡️- Medias seem unsure whether the shooting is related to the ongoing riots or not. BFM has claimed it wasn't, citing local sources, while other medias refused to confirm this information.

🇫🇷⚡️- The middle school is the Collège Joseph Lakanal where most students are of African descent.

The school was not among the rioting schools but the student may still have acted on behalf of the rioters. He shot at the school's principal 4 to 5 times before being stopped. An investigation has been opened.

🇸🇦🇾🇪⚡️- Saudi Arabia reports an ongoing "threat of drones and cruise missiles" according to Al Arabiya.

🇾🇪 - Siege of Ta'izz:

Ansarullah have advanced across the southwest of Tai'zz city, capturing Najd Qusaym, the Bir Basha area, and al-Misrakh

The al-Hanjar Gate to western Tai'zz city has also fallen to the al-Houthi forces, giving them control of the city's northern, eastern and now western entrances to Ta'izz, further tightening the siege.

🇫🇷 - Riots in France are expected to peak this weekend as several Yellow Vests had planned to rekindle the movement on the 17th October. However, due to heavy leftist interference in the ongoing ethnic riots, the renewal of the Yellow Vests movement is unlikely.

The movement was originally built as an anti-Macron social event. It lost strength in 2019 overtime precisely because of a forced confluence of struggles from the left-wing part of the movement.

🇫🇷⚡️- Hundreds of grocery stores across France were hacked between Sunday and Monday. Temperatures of refrigerating devices were set as high as 50C°.

Several tons of food have wasted away in stores belonging to Intermarché, Super U and Leclerc.

🇪🇹🇪🇷⚡- Deputy Army Commander of the Tigray Defence Forces, TDF, Berhane Gebreananya, has reportedly been captured by Ethiopian National Defence Force, ENDF, troops during fighting near Enticho, Adwa direction in northern Ethiopia.

Four other senior TDF officials were also captured alongside him.
