🇷🇺⚡- Several vessels belonging to the Russia's Baltic Fleet are active around the Baltiysk Gap, Kaliningrad.

Anti submarine protective nets are being deployed around the entrance to Baltiysk harbour.

🇩🇪🇸🇪⚡️- "Together with our German friends, we are today carrying out a rapid reinforcement of Gotland. We are bringing qualified systems here for the defense of the island under the protection of fighter aircraft, frigates, corvettes, coastal artillery and other units that guard the harbor" - Stefan Sandborg, Deputy Chief of Operations at the Swedish Armed Forces.

🇫🇷🇷🇺⚡️- "Russia cannot dictate French policies using threats or destabilization." - Marine Le Pen, in a rare anti-Russian statement.

Marine Le Pen was France's most popular pro-Russian figure until 2022. She was financed by Russian banks for €9M in 2014. While she criticized the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, she kept herself from criticizing Russia openly since then. This statement comes a day after Macron gathered all the leaders of the political forces of France in a meeting to discuss geopolitical threats.

🇺🇸⚡️- MS NOW journalists report they were denied access to the White House.

🇪🇺🇷🇺⚡- "Vladimir Putin is preparing to escalate his war against Ukraine and intensify hybrid attacks on Kyiv’s allies in Europe.

Western intelligence officials believe the Russian leader is laying the ground for a “stealth mobilisation” after the sham elections this weekend, in which thousands of Russians could be drafted.

European defence and security officials say they fear that Russia’s aggression in Ukraine is a precursor to a more concerted campaign of increasingly overt action against Nato territory, which could follow the [ongoing 9th Duma] elections [set to finish tomorrow night]," - The Telegraph.

🇳🇪🇸🇩⚡- Niger’s regional pivot appears to be continuing, with Niamey signalling support for Sudan's Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan in his confrontation with the Rapid Support Forces in a recent meeting with the Sudanese ambassador to Niger.

The development fits a broader realignment by Niger. Relations with Algeria were restored in August 2026, which were followed by a transfer of four military helicopters, ammunition, spare parts and support equipment to the Nigerien Armed Forces. Meanwhile, the anti-junta Patriotic Liberation Front, FPL, has established ties with Saddam Haftar of east Libya, following the warming of relations between Niamey and western Libya’s GNU.
