🇺🇸🗽✝️⚡️- Tonight now 25 years ago, President Bush began his Oval Office address to the nation and the world to declare that "Today, our nation saw evil, the very worst of human nature. And we responded with the best of America, with the daring of our rescue workers, with the caring of for strangers and neighbors who came to give blood and help in any way they could."

As the events of September 11th, 2001 progressed throughout the day, thousands of police officers, firefighters, doctors and nurses, and volunteers had now begun their 24 hour shifts in helping save lives and recover the remains of the fallen at the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon.

That day remains the deadliest day for the New York City Fire Department in the brotherhoods history as 343 Firefighters gave their lives to save over 13,000 people from the WTC before the Twin Towers collapsed.

Although 3 planes hit their targets that day the 4th hijacked plane, United Airlines Flight 93 whose target was Washington D.C. was retaken by its passengers and crashed in Pennsylvania marking the first victory in what would become known as America's Global War on Terrorism.

Today 25 years later we remember the innocent lives who were killed by evil and the heroes who's names can never be forgotten who died showing the best of America.
