🇦🇪🇮🇱🇵🇸⚡️ — UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu around 10 days before October 7, 2023, that Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar was preparing a major operation against Israel, Haaretz reports.

During a 45-minute conversation, Netanyahu responded that Hamas was focused on the West Bank and assured bin Zayed that Israel was prepared for any scenario.

MbZ later conveyed a similar warning to CIA Director William Burns, saying “something there is about to explode.”

Netanyahu didn’t brief the Shin Bet, Mossad, or IDF chiefs about the warning from the UAE. Some senior security officials said the information could have affected their assessment of Hamas’s intentions.

The warning follows earlier warnings in September, when intermediaries relayed messages from Sinwar referring to an approaching “earthquake.”

Netanyahu’s office denies that the Prime Minister received a warning from the UAE’s MbZ, calling the claim an “absolute lie.”
