🇺🇸🇸🇦⚡️- According to the text of the new U.S.–Saudi nuclear agreement, Saudi Arabia will have a pathway to enrich uranium up to 20% on its own territory.

Without strict controls, enriching up to 20% could give Saudi Arabia the ability to divert nuclear material to military purposes. The agreement is currently under congressional review.

🇲🇱⚡- A Malian Armed Forces, FAMa, convoy was ambushed by JNIM just outside the capital Bamako. Heavy casualties reported, with clashes ongoing.

🇾🇪⚡- Ansarullah ballistic missile launches from the Ta'izz and 'Ibb areas of Yemen.

🇲🇱⚡- JNIM ambushed another Malian military, FAMa, convoy earlier today along route RN6, southwest of Segou. The FAMa convoy were escorting fuel tankers.

FAMa casualties reported, and the entire fuel tanker convoy was destroyed, with several set on fire.

🇺🇸🌎⚡️- “On Sept. 2, at the direction of SOUTHCOM Commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan, and in coordination and collaboration with the Government of Ecuador, Joint Task Force Western Hemisphere (JTF-WHEM) successfully interdicted a vessel operating as a floating refueling station in support of illicit at-sea drug trafficking operations in international waters of the Eastern Pacific. Intelligence confirmed the vessel was operating in support of the Los Choneros violent narco-terrorist organization.

U.S. Marines and Sailors, launched from USS San Antonio (LPD 17), interdicted, boarded, searched, and cleared the vessel without incident. Individuals removed from the vessel were safely transferred to Ecuadorian Authorities. Once cleared, U.S. forces sank the vessel.” - U.S. Southern Command.

🇺🇸⚡️- One person has been killed and five injured, including two police officers, in a mass shooting in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota.

🇾🇪⚡- Ansarullah forces are attempting to advance west of al-Kudnah and al-Maqbanah in the Shar'ab heights axis, Hays direction, southwest Yemen.

Heavy clashes have been ongoing for two hours, with major reinforcements arriving on both sides.

🇩🇪⚡- German authorities arrest two Bulgarian nationals following an incident where incendiary devices were thrown at a construction site just outside the the Munich headquarters of defence technology company Rohde & Schwarz.

One device caused a fire but was put out quickly. No damage or casualties reported.

🇩🇪🇷🇺⚡- Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it will shut Germany's Goethe-Institut houses in St Petersburg, Moscow, and Yekaterinburg in response to Germany's closure of Russia's Consulate in Bonn and Berlin's Russian House

🇮🇷🇰🇼🇦🇪⚡- Iran's IRGC says it attacked military facilities in Kuwait and the UAE earlier this morning.

🇸🇩⚡- A Sudanese Su-25 fighter jet crashed in the Kordofan region of central Sudan. Cause unknown.

🇾🇪 - Current situation along the Hays direction, southwest Yemen:

- Tihamah Brigades (pro Presidential Leadership Council, PLC) launched heavy artillery attacks on Ansarullah positions yesterday evening.

- Ansarullah responded with 14 ballistic missiles (one failed upon launch, another malfunctioned and landed within Ansarullah-controlled 'Ibb region) at PLC positions in al-Khawkhah and Mocha last night.

- PLC responded with large-scale drone attacks on Ansarullah positions along the al-Barah axis, Hays direction. Ansarullah retaliated with their own drone attacks, three of which were downed by the PLC.

- The tit-for-tat resulted in ground clashes along al-Kudnah and al-Maqbanah earlier this morning. Both sides began reinforcing their positions immediately.

- Since the tit-for-tats, it has now escalated into a full blown ground campaign along almost the entire stretch of the southern Hays, western Ta'izz area. Both sides are attempting to advance around the strategic Shar'ab heights.

- Clashes are ongoing, and are some of the most intense since the end of Yemen's hot-phase of the civil war in mid-2022. Neither side has made any strategic breakthrough on the ground, reports of advances are all false.

🇮🇷🇱🇧🇮🇱⚡- Iran has threatened the US with a large-scale Iranian retaliation if Israeli ground forces advance to the Ali al-Taher heights, Nabatieh direction, southern Lebanon.

🇱🇾⚡- A one-way drone attempted to strike an oil facility in Tripoli, GNU-controlled western Libya.

The attack failed, and the drone crashed near the airport.

🇱🇾⚡- Libya's 4+4 Agreement:

On August 30, UN-brokered a deal to achieve unity between the different Libyan governing bodies, known as the 4+4 agreement. The agreement seeks to unite all representatives:

- Two from the Government of National Unity, GNU (west Libya),
- Two from the High Council of State, HCoS (west Libya),
- Two from the House of Representatives, HoR (east Libya),
- Two from the Eastern Military Command, LNA (east Libya).

The deal has been backed by most of Libya's representative bodies, including GNU Prime Minister Dbeibeh, LNA's Commander-in-Chief Haftar, and HoR Speaker Saleh. Chairman of the HCoS Takala declined to attend the signing ceremony, and the Presidential Council body have outright rejected the restructuring of the election commission. The agreement calls for presidential and parliamentary elections within 24 months. The elections will be held under one unified executive authority (a restructured High National Elections Commission, HNEC).

However, the 4+4 agreement also, without surprise, allows military personnel to register with Libya's new HNEC and run for the office of Prime Minister or President, hence Haftar's endorsement of the agreement.

Over the past 48 hours, the decision to allow military personnel to run for political office has become a major point of contention in GNU's west Libya, led by the GNU's Deputy Defense Minister Abdulsalam al-Zubi and Abdul Majeed Mlegta, Chief of GNU's Intelligence services. Several prominent GNU brigades in Misrata, Tripoli and the wider area have come out in support of al-Zubi, who has threatened to halt the 4+4 agreement with military means if necessary.

A state of alert has been declared across Misrata by the GNU as al-Zubi and his supporters, the Misrata Military Council and Western Plain Military Council, have established an 'operations room' to contest the 4+4 Agreement militarily.
