Dubbed "One Million Southerners", a play on Ansarullah's "One Million Man Army" campaign, the protests are scheduled to take place tomorrow across southern Yemen, including Aden, STC-stronghold Ad Dali, Mocha, Shabwah, Lahij, and throughout the Hadhramaut region.

🇺🇳🇭🇹⚡️- Haiti’s ambassador to the United Nations, Eric Pierre, has called upon the international community to rapidly accelerate the deployment of the UN-backed Gang Suppression Force after the Viv Ansanm gang coalition killed 47 civilians, including those who fled to a nearby church, where they were massacred.

In March, Chad committed about 800 police officers to replace their Kenyan counterparts, who saw little success. The current UN Gang Suppression Force reportedly has around 5,500 personnel and receives UN-funded weapons, equipment, and supplies.

🇸🇩🇪🇹⚡- A new large build-up of Rapid Support Forces, RSF, in Ethiopia along the Sudanese border, indicating the RSF offensive in the Ad Damazin direction is far from over.

🇾🇪⚡- One of the most senior Islamic State officials and its spokesman Abu Hudhayfah al-Ansari was killed in an overnight operation by Yemen's Quick Rapid Forces, QRF.

The QRF were designed by the UAE and worked closely with the former Southern Transitional Council. The forces are based in the al-Rayyan Air Base, and operate in a similar way to Sudan's Rapid Support Forces pre-2023.

🇫🇷⚡️- France's National Rally's schizophrenia keeps increasing as the French presidential campaign unofficially started a few days ago. Marine Le Pen wishes to ban the islamic veil and fine its wearers in the public through a referendum. However, memos banning National Rally officials from discussing remigration and similar topics have been issued within the party.

🇫🇷⚡️- The recent changes in the National Rally's policies are the results of Marine Le Pen's statist line being hardened following the decision to dismiss Jordan Bardella's candidacy and economic liberal ideas. The National Rally's strategy seems to build itself on pleasing French retirees to ensure a safe path to election in 2027.

🇫🇷🇲🇱⚡️- Self-proclaimed French "journalist" Thomas Dietrich has accused the X account Sahel Alert of using intelligence from jihadist and anti-junta groups to destabilize juntas across the Sahel, mainly in Mali. Without providing evidence, Dietrich went further and implied that France was backing the account as part of an active disinformation campaign.

Known for his anti-colonial, left-wing stance, T. Dietrich has long downplayed Russian military and economic exploitation in Africa while focusing heavily on French foreign policy. His attack on a local West African news outlet appears to be part of a renewed pro-Russian media push to shield struggling, Moscow-backed juntas from online criticism.
