The claim has not been verified and is likely false. It was likely made to counter a possible Ethiopian accusation that the TPLF's Army 70 and 13 were supported by the Sudanese Armed Forces.

🇾🇪⚡- Heavy artillery and rocket fire erupted against Ansarullah positions in the Sahl al-Silsilah axis, Ta'izz direction, southern Yemen.

Initial reports indicate that Ansarullah forces were attempting to infiltrate high ground south of Ar Rahidah. Frontline Ansarullah sources confirm suffering casualties.

Reports also suggest the artillery fire originated from positions held by the al-Islah Party. If confirmed, it would mark a significant turning point in the recent escalation in the Yemeni file since November 2025, bringing one of Yemen's most influential anti-Ansarullah factions directly into the fighting once again. The Muslim Brotherhood affiliate chapter's longstanding network with tribes provides them with major influence across much of Yemen, even within Ansarullah-controlled territory.
