🇷🇴⚡️- Following the Ukrainian drone incursion into the Constanta port, Romania, in June, the Constanța Maritime Ports Admin has announced they have acquired two Triton sea drones from Ocean Aero, which will monitor water areas surrounding the port to protect the water area and increase response time to security risks.

Ocean Aero, a US company which produces the drone, markets it as an Autonomous Underwater and Surface Vehicle able to collect data from above and below the surface of the water, with the ability to stay on station for 30 days.

🇷🇴🇷🇺⚡️- In the last week, three Russian drones have entered Romanian airspace and were subsequently shot down by NATO and Romanian aircraft.

In response, Romania has expelled a member of the Russian Embassy in Romania.

The Romanian Ministry of Defence has also begun looking for cheaper anti-drone capabilities, after spending roughly 1.5 million euros on aircraft-launched drone interceptors.

🇬🇪⚡️- The State Security Service of the Republic of Georgia has begun investigations into sabotage after two separate nationwide power outages occurred on July 24th and July 25th. No official explanation has been offered by Georgia's power company or any government official.

The Director of Georgia's largest hydroelectric power plant stated that Georgia's main power transmission line was "disconnected" and not in their scope of responsibilities without explaining any further.

🇾🇪🇸🇦⚡️- "Top shipping insurers have told brokers that they will not sell war cargo insurance to Saudi Arabia-linked ships in the Red Sea, following attacks by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, in a further risk to oil exports from the region.

Several of the leading marine war insurers at Lloyd’s of London market said on Friday that they would exclude vessels with any “Saudi touchpoints” from coverage, two brokers said, including ships travelling under other flags that have made past calls at Saudi ports." - Financial Times.

🇺🇸🇨🇳🇮🇷⚡️- "Iran is expected to receive within weeks a first shipment out of up to 400 Chinese-made shoulder-fired air-defence missile launchers, three sources familiar with the deal told ​Reuters, as it rebuilds its defences amid war with the United States.

The purchase, valued at $60-70 million, is one of Tehran's largest-known efforts to strengthen its short-range air ‌defences since the outbreak of its war with the U.S. and Israel, which exposed gaps in Iran's ability to protect military sites and strategic infrastructure.

The contract covers the purchase of between 300 and 400 man-portable air defence systems (MANPADS), including Chinese-made QW-12 and FN-16 missiles, the sources said." - Reuters.

🇾🇪🇸🇦⚡- Ansarullah has announced the downing of a Turkish-made Vestel Karayel UAV operated by the Royal Saudi Air Force over northern Yemen.

It marks the second Turkish-made drone type operated by Saudi Arabia to have been shot down by Ansarullah within just a matter of days.

🇺🇸🇸🇦🇮🇶⚡- Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces, PMF, have acknowledged that several of their facilities and positions were targeted in joint U.S.-Saudi airstrikes overnight.

The pro-Iranian forces also confirmed the deaths of its members that were killed in the strikes.

Durov dismissed the case as "politically motivated," arguing that the Kremlin is using the charges to justify its restrictions on Telegram within Russia.

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇮🇱⚡- Haaretz reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declined to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the report, Zelenskyy's office sought to arrange a meeting with Netanyahu on the sidelines of Senator Lindsey Graham's funeral, but received no response from the Israeli side, therefore no meeting ultimately took place.

It mirrors a similar incident in late 2023, when Zelenskyy was denied a visit to Israel as he sought talks with Netanyahu.
